Chapter 3

Jimin's POV 

Crush: Yeah sure.

Yes! He agreed to go out with me! It's true that my mother's birthday is coming and to be honest, I actually need no help to pick a gift for my mom. I just wanna use this chance to ask him out, so that our relationship/friendship will deepen. I know it's weird to ask him out early in the morning, it's just that I was procrastinating too much last night that I fell asleep.

I heard from Jackson that Youngjae's gay and I thought maybe I'll have a chance with him as I... like him...romantically that is.

So, I tried being brave just this once and asked him out. In result... he accepted my invitation!

While I was celebrating, Youngjae sent me another message.

Crush : But is it okay if I bring along someone else?

Of course, it's too good to be true. He just has to bring someone else.

Me : Oh, who is it?

Crush : Im Jae Bum. You've never met him before because he was in Taiwan for a week. He's a really cool guy and I think you'll be his friend in no time.

Him talking about another guy kinda makes me feel jealous. But this Jae Bum name sounded so familiar.

Me : Jae Bum? Is he like... the top student in our year or something?

Crush : YEAH! The smartest and hottest guy in our year! Didn't I mention about him to you??? I DID, DIDN'T I?

Me : Jeez, calm down. And no, you did not. So... why would the great, almighty Im Jae Bum wanna follow us anyways?

Crush : He's probably overprotective over me and he's the one who wanted to come so why not. Plus, he's like the best at picking out gifts. He got me so many amazing stuff even when he's not that familiar with me just yet. And of course I did buy him presents but they are not as good as his. He's just so awesome.   

Me: Uhh, are you guys best friends or what?

Crush : Nope, he's my boyfriend. We've been dating for over a year now.

My heart sank by those words. Owh, he has a boyfriend. Ah... my heart hurts. It hurts. Of course he has a lover. Why wouldn't he?

Me : Oh, well. I got to go get ready for school then...

I sent and got up from my bed, throwing my phone onto the bed and headed to the bathroom to carry out my morning activities as usual, but this time, with a broken heart. I threatened myself not to cry, I wouldn't want to go to school with red, puffy eyes, would I?

Jae Bum's POV

"Jae ah~." I called him, still hugging him on the bed as he's texting Jimin.

"Hmm?" he hummed.

"I can tell that this Jimin fella has a thing for you."

"What? That can't be. We've only  known each other for almost a week. Plus, I think he's straight. Well, he looks like one." he said in disbelief.

"Please, I've liked you since day one of high school."

"Yeah, you confessed to me that day and I rejected you. I don't even know you that time and you were acting so full of yourself." he giggled.

"But I saw you blushing to my bold confession. Not anyone can do what I did back then, y'know."

"Yeah, yeah. Now let's go change for school. I reckon you have your uniform with you, right?" he slipped out of my arms and went to the bathroom to take a bath.

I nodded and said teasingly, "Mind if I join you for a bath~?" I know he loves it when I tease him. He sure can be so cute sometimes.

Youngjae's POV

"Mind if I join you for a bath?"

My whole body tensed up at the thought of seeing him naked. I mean I've seen him naked before but I still get flustered every so often when he said or asked these kind of stuff.

I turned to him and smirked, "If you're not joking then... why not?"

OMG, I CAN'T BELIEVE I SAID THAT.
