Everything can change so fast

Chapter 11

It’s been a week since the cafeteria incident. Well it wasn’t really an incident but I count it as one. I still have his jacket. I wear it to bed at night because I’m a weirdo that likes the smell of Austin. Kay and I have grown closer. Each day we meet up at 1st period and stay together till the end of the day, since we have all periods together.

After the second day of school right before school ended she grabbed my phone out of my hands and put her number in my phone. She put her name as BFFL AND YOU BETTER NOT FORGET. I admit it's a little long but I think it’s awesome. I put my name in her phone as Ann. I’m pretty sure it’s spelled differently than she spelled it earlier but who cares.

As I sit at lunch I have Kay sitting in front of me and three of my other friends I met the other day. Joanie, Libby, and Raine. We all have formed a group around us 4 friends. Sorta.

I have my tray in front of me. The tray is piled up with a sandwich, carrots, milk, and a sidekick. I doubt I’ll eat it all, but I’ll try.

Immediately grabbing my sidekick I feel a rush of air on my back. I jolt my head around and see someone behind me. I can’t identify him but he is cute.

I catch him glance at me and twist his head back around. A smile falls over my face.

After lunch the day flies by. 5, 6, and 7th period seemed like 10 minutes each. I mean I’m not complaining, I am totally fine with that.

As I walk out to my brothers car I see him standing between his car and a new car. A look of confusion takes over my face. I start walking up to him and see him holding a pair of car keys. Now I’m running.

Getting closer to him, he starts to hand me the keys. OMG!!!!!!!

“Is that mine?” I ask, my eyebrows furrowing and confusion lining my voice.

He nods his head. Ok now I am freaking out.

I finish running the length between me and Ethan and jump into his arms. He pulls me up into a bear hug, Making sure not to drop me. I’m pretty sure we get a few glares, but I really don’t care at this moment.

I grab the car keys from Ethan's hands and just stare and the car. It is a black convertible. A freaking convertible. How did he even afford that.

As soon as I’m done admiring the magnificent car I hop in and put down the top. I start the car, leaving Ethan in the dust.

I drive down the road, the wind blowing my hair all over the place. All of a sudden all of my worries, pains, and hurt is just gone. Just like it vanished.

The cool wind sends goosebumps down my arms, but I’m too caught up in the moment to care.

As soon as I get home I immediately call my friends and tell them the good news. Of course they suggest that we go shopping.

I have called them to where we’re all on the phone listening to each others conversations at once. Whenever I told them about the car and it also being a convertible, this is what they said.

“OMG YOU SHOULD TAKE US TO GO SHOPPING!!!!!” And what makes it worse besides screaming it into my ear, they all said it at once.

After the phone call is ended I rush over to each one of their houses and pick them up. The top is still down so everyone is standing up feeling the rush of cool wind blow back their hair, and neck. While I on the other hand have my phone hooked up with the auxiliary cord blaring my songs off of spotify.

The next song that comes on is Heathens by Twenty One Pilots. Immediately they all start singing and the car fills with this beautiful tune because everyone is a beautiful singer. Besides me if I start to sing I’ll make it sound like a dying cow. That’s how bad of a singer I am. Again there I go putting myself down again. I need to honestly stop.

As soon as we get to the mall I put up the top and lock the car because I don’t want anything happening to my brand new baby. Who’s needs a boyfriend when you have a convertible.♥♥

We run inside and all go our separate ways, but before we can I tell everyone to meet back up at the food court.

I head to the bookstore first because I love books. Like LOVE them. I go through the aisles and find a few books. Then I head over to the Anime section and the Graphic Novel section. I love all books don’t judge.

After I finish picking out about 10 books I head to the checkout where my total is only $20.11. That’s not that bad for 10 books.

The checkout lady puts my book in a bag and drops something else in it. I grab the bag and look inside there's a piece of paper and and a box of candy. I grab out the paper and read it. It says “Hi Anna this is not who you would expect it to be. It’s Austin.” My eyes go big and I suck in a breath before continuing. “I saw you on the road with your car Which is really cool by the way, and I saw you guys standing up and your loud music. I thought you guys were gonna be doing something fun, so I decided to follow.” Stalker. “As we got closer to the mall I decided that I was just go inside too because what's the harm in that right. I got out of the car before you and ran inside. I decided to go to the bookstore for some unknown reason and then I saw you come in here so I decided to write this. I want to play a little game, I will put on a disguise of different clothes and follow you around, except each new place you go I will have a different outfit. If you guess which one I am you can have one of my hoodies, and keep the jacket you already have.” I wasn't gonna give back his jacket anyway, but okay. “And if you loose you have to go on a date with me. Good luck.” Okay now I’m a little creeped out.

I swivel my head around and look for Austin but there’s no one in here. Okay I have a plan. Hehehe.

I decide to play along because why not. I head out of the bookstore, waving to the checkout lady. I decide to walk over to where Libby is, which is either the pet store where she is admiring kittens or either the yarn store where she is looking at more yarn for her Amigurumi. Which are really beautiful by the way. Or she could be at the bookstore looking at Neko Atsume books. She is like literally obsessed. So is Joanie and also me. That game is awesome.

Deciding to go to the pet store, I sprint the entire way.

As I come closer I see a faint reflection of someone behind me through the window. Slowing down my sprint to a walk I jolt my head to look behind me, but I see nothing. How is that even possible? Who knows. Maybe I’m just delusional from that note from Austin.

As I get straight in front of the pet store I see her. Libby has like 10 kittens crawling all over her. They are balancing on her shoulders, and shirt. She has her back bent where the cats are sitting on it.

Just as I'm about to walk up to her I see someone, and I swear it's Austin. As I walk over to him I see that them turn away and start walking the other direction.

I start into a Sprint to catch up.

I'm now right behind them, about to tap on their shoulder when…..

Hey guys I know its been a long while since I updated, and I am terribly sorry. You'd think since it's summer break you'd have totally free time but I have been really busy.

Again I am very sorry for taking forever to update.

I hope you liked this update, knowing me and how I write it was probably crappy, but I tried.
