Chapter Ten

Tris POV

After an uneventful lunch, Tobias and I walk back to the training room to set up the punching bags. As Eric told us, Tobias and I have to teach fighting before we teach the initiates to shoot a gun. I wonder why?

When we finish putting up the punching bags, Tobias and I just sit and talk. After about 5 minutes, the initiates start to return to the training room.

"Six and I are now going to show you how to fight. You will watch us as we demonstrate some punches. Tomorrow, you will fight each other." All of the initiates nod except for Anthony. He doesn't look either me or Tobias in the eye. Although, he doesn't look embarrassed of scared. He looks angry.

Tobias POV

Tris and I show the initiates some punches and then let them practice. We sit back and watch. The room is silent except for the sound of bare skin hitting the punching bags.

I see Tris staring at the initiate that kissed her, Anthony I think.

"Tris, are you ok?" I put my hand on top if hers, which is sitting on her thigh.

"Yeah. It's just Anthony. I mean he is punching that bag like he wants to kill it and he looks angry."

"He's jealous because your mine." I smirk.

Tris laughs, leans over and whispers in my ear. "I love you."

I whisper back, "I love you too."

Nicole POV (Abnegation initiate)

I see Six and Four whispering back and fourth. They are so cute. I wish someone would treat me the way he treats her.

"Ok initiates, you may leave. Be here tomorrow, on time, so we can get the fight over with," Four yells. Anna and I walk out of the training took together and go to the cafeteria for dinner.

"I hope we don't have to fight each other." Anna keeps her voice low so others cannot hear.

"Me too." She nods her head. As we get closer to the cafeteria, someone grabs my shoulder and stops me. Anna keeps walking and goes into the cafeteria, oblivious of what just happened.

I turn around to see...

A/N: Cliffhanger. I'm sorry for not updating in awhile, again. I have just been so busy. Especially with the new divergent sneak peaks on YouTube! There are 5 now.
