Chapter 4

      I pick up my bag from the orange chair.I walk from the halls to my locker."Hey,wait up,"a voice behind me calls.I look at the back of me and see Nathan.I roll my eyes and head on."Hey Mia,did you see that new guy,he's cute,"Raina walked up to me since her locker was beside mine."Yeah,he is cool,"I shove my bag into my locker and pull out my lunch."What do you mean,"she asked curiously.I laugh and look at Raina with funny eyes,"I like Austin,you like Nathan,its a tie."

   Nathan taps my shoulder and I go into defense mode,"GET AWAY FROM ME,"I hold out my fists and crouch down,kicking him in the leg."Uhm,sorry I guess I'll go then,"he said awkwardly."No no no,she didn't mean it,she just does that when people startle her,"Raina told him.

    "Well,that's cool,may I ask what your name is,"Nathan asked Raina grinning."Oh,you want to know my name,"Raina blushed looking away from him and tapping the floor.

    "If it is too much to ask,"he asked her looking embarrassed.Raina looked at him and I looked at Raina then to Nathan.Nathan looked at the both of us,"Is something wrong,"he looked so confused."Nope,uhh weren't you asking her name,"I looked at Raina and giggled."Oh,uhm,yeah,so was is your name,"he was serious but still a soft voice."Well,if you really want to know,its Raina,"she smiled."That's a cool name,"he laughed.Raina blushed,"T-thank you."

    Nathan looked at me then across the hall,"Are you looking for someone or are you staring at something?"I didn't notice that I was staring at Austin and Jessica,I felt hurt that he didn't talk to me for a while."No,its nothing,"I lied.

     The bell rings for last period and I walk to the music room."Hello class,today we are going to be singing solos,so think of a song,in 5 minutes,you will have to sing a song,"Ms.Cheese told us."Fuking unicorn shiz,"I mumble to myself."Remember,this is part of your grade,"Ms.Cheese said.I glared at her when she wasn't looking.

     "Hey,I got a song in my head,"Jessica pointed out to her friend out loud."What,"her friend asked."I'm going to sing let it go by demi lovato,"she said proudly."What are you going to sing,Mia,"Nathan asked me."Ah,I don't even know,I don't sing,no,I CANT sing,I suck so bad,"I looked down ashamed."Its alright,I'm bad at singing too,"he smiled, giving me a sign to cheer up."I looked at him and started to smile,I laugh and punch him playfully.

      Nathan tickles me and I laugh even harder.I hold my mouth shut as I look around.Everybody is still talking that probably means they didn't even hear me."Phew,"I wipe my forehead and say to Nathan,"I'll just sing,mmmmmm,oh I know,I'll sing terrible things by mayday parade,"I look behind me.Austin was talking to his friends and glanced at me.I look back at Nathan and blush.

      "Is he your crush,"he asks me."What,pshhhhh,nooo,ehmm,yes,kinda, I don't know,maybe,"I started to get confused and I don't know what to say.

     "Okay class,5 minutes is up its time for you people to sing,first up,Jessica,"Ms.Cheese tells us.Jessica sings let it go and I congradulate her,she sticks her tounge out at me."What the FUK,I didnt do no shiz to her,I congradulated her.Ms.Cheese caught me talking and now I get to go last,yes!

    After everyone sang their songs,Ms.Cheese Tod me to sing a song."Ehmmm,so I am really bad so cover your ears everyone,"I breathe in and out slowly.

I sing the bridge of my song.

     Slow,so slow.I fell to the ground on my knees.

    So don't fall in love there is just too much to lose,

     if you're given the choice then I beg you to choose.

     To walk away, walk away, don't let it get you.

     I can't bear to see the same happen to you.

    Now son,I'm only telling you this because life,

       Can do terrible things.~

   I finish the bridge of my song and look at everybody.They don't have an expression on their face.I look at Jessica and she laughs at me,"hey look everyone,she is so bad at singing."I run off the stage and somewhere down the hall.

     I know I shouldn't have done this,I knew it, I just knew it.

I cry while running and dash into the bathroom.
