(This is my first fan fiction, please don't judge to much! But leave a review and maybe a vote! I'd appreciate that. The story begins with Two-Player Game!)

---------------------

"Apocalypse of the Damned?"
"Level nine!"
"The cafetorium!"

Michael Mell and Jeremy Heere where hanging out at Jeremy's home. They where playing their favorite game and discussing the so called Squip Rich had mentioned to Jeremy at school.

A gray oblong pill, quantum nanotechnology CPU. Rich had said that if you take this pill it will travel to your blood until it implants itself in your brain and it tells you what to do, well Rich also had mentioned it would help you be cool, popular. A wish hold dear for Jeremy.

"So what do you think?"
"He's scamming you-" Michael commented, focusing on the game "-He's scamming you super weirdly.." He finished, exaggerating the 'r' in super.

"W-What if he's not? This could be huge! All I have to do is give the guy that torments me six hundred... He's totally scamming me.." Jeremy sighed and frowned
"I'm doomed to be a loser till the end of the world...no probably then too.."

"No way" Michael chuckled and turn to look at his friend still going on in the game.
"Dude you are cooler than a vintage cassette. It's just that nobody else except me think that yet.." Jeremy chuckled and rolled his eyes,he stared at the screen.

"You're just a nothing in this highschool scheme. But it's no big, cuz you and I are a team!" Michael beamed and looked back to the television screen and continued talking.

"We like out of print games, retro skates, I got a pac-man tattoo!" "Nobody here appreciates but soon we'll be together when they do! Cuz guys like us are cool in college! And trust me, this I know"

"Listen Jer, Highschool is hell but we navigate it well cuz what we do is we make it a two Player game!"

Jeremy smiled "I guess, since as losers we've fought together for years. Both Nintendo zombies and our popular peer's. Now we're stuck in a level and I really just want to move on.."
"Just wait two years, you'll see that guys like us will rule in college"

"Dude, I know I get it. But we're still not in college.." Jeremy sighed.
Michael rolled his eyes,he glanced at Jeremy then back to the game

"Oh! Zombie!" Both of their attention went to the screen, as they tried to fight of the zombies in their game.

"Hello?" Knocking was heard, yet the two teenagers kept their attention at their game.
"Son?...Jeremy?"
They both sighed loudly and paused the game. The door opened and Jeremy's father peeked in the room.
"Ah! Dad, Pants!" Jeremy groaned as he noticed his father was still in his boxers.

"Are you in here with a girl?" His father asked "Oh, Hi Michael." He greeted finally noticing Michael sitting next to Jeremy.

"Hi Mr.Heere" Michael waved
"I was gonna order pizza, if there's anything you boys want-"
"Did you get dressed today? Like, at all?"
Jeremy father sighed "They didn't need me at the office so I worked from home"
"Most people wear pants at home" Jeremy snapped

"That's why most people aren't...your father, Good talk" Jeremy's father exited the room, the door closing behind.
Michael noticed the awkward atmosphere.
"How's he doing..?"
"How does it look?" Jeremy spat, Michael sighed and continued "Have you heard from her?"
Michael always worried for Jeremy, why wouldn't he, Jeremy is his best friend.

"No, and who cares? My mom moved and just, why can't he?"

Michael put his controller down and looked at Jeremy concerned, he always had to look out for Jeremy because honestly, who else would so far? With Jeremy's father still pretty messed up about Jeremy's mother leaving, and Jeremy not really having a social life (same), Michael felt that he needed to be there.

"Hey-"
"I don't want that to be my future! Rich said his hook-up's at Payless, why don't we go there ourselves? To see if his story checks out?"

Michael chuckled and smiled sadly "And if it does? Will you be..-" He picked up his control "-to cool or video games?"

"Now way, Michael. Know that you are my favorite person, that doesn't mean I can't still dream.."
Michael felt his cheeks slightly heat up and he laughed
"Is it really true? I'm your favorite person?~" he joked at what Jeremy said and wrapped his arm around Jeremy's neck.

Michael couldnt ignore how fast his heart beat was now, a blush on his cheek, but Jeremy couldn't notice.

Jeremy chuckled and pushed his friend away
"Yeah, we'll always be a team alright."
Michael nodded "Always"

----------------------

"That's him?" Jeremy asked, as he stared at a scary looking stock boy who seemed to be ignoring them.Michael gave a shrug and pushed Jeremy forward.
Jeremy hesitated before saying
"I like your sunburns. Wolverine right?"

Michael chucked. The stock boy turned to look at Jeremy
"Let's see the money"
"What?"
The stock boy have a long sigh
"Its a gray oblong pill, quantum nanotechnology CPU.."
"O-Oh! How did you know I was-"
"Just look at you kid" the stock boy interrupted.

Michael raised his eyebrows, his expression saying 'what is that supposed to mean?'

Jeremy pulled out the six hundred dollars Rich had told him to bring.
"Thats four hundred?"
Jeremy stopped
"Four hundred..?"
"Is there a problem?"

Jeremy looked at Michael, he clearly remembered Rich saying it was Six Hundred Dollars.
"Uh no.." He said and turned back to look at the stock boy, handing him four hundred dollars.

The stock boy pulled out a box.
"Ladies running shoes..?" Jeremy asked puzzled. The stockboy pulled out a small gray pill.
"Now, just to be clear this is untested technology. And it's not exactly legal.."
Jeremy gulped
"Which is why your paying it with cash at the back of a shoe store. I take no responsibility with what you might do with it,or what it might do to you.." The stock boy continued

"What it mig-" Before Jeremy could finish he was interrupted by the stock boy once more.
"To activate it take it with Mountain Dew. Don't know why, just something about Mountain Dew. And this is important-"

As he was about to finish a girl walked in.
"I'm sold out!" The stock boy barked, the girl was Jenna Rolan.
"..of shoes..?" She asked puzzled, the stock boy sighed
"Oh you're here for shoes. My bad." He turned to Jeremy "Now scram"
"Wait you where saying something important.."
"Oh yeah, sales final."

Michael and Jeremy walked away and made their way to the food court.
"Let's see if this will actually work.."
