She was my room mate. Alicia.

I knew something was wrong from the very first day. She never looked at me in the eye nor did she talk to me. We mostly kept out of each others way.

One day, I woke up in the middle of the night, thirsty. I made my way into the kitchen, passing the living room on the way.

I stopped short, noticing a dark shadow in the living room. It was a person, standing perfectly still.

A burglar!

I turned on the light and saw that it wasn't a burglar. It was Alicia.

She was standing in front of the huge mirror, breathing deeply.

"Alicia?"

She turned around and saw me.

And then she did the weirdest thing ever. She smashed the mirror.

I was shocked! I gave a cry and ran forward.

"What the hell are you doing?" I yelled.

"Go away." She hissed. I became even more shocked. This was the first she had spoken to me. Her voice had a weirdness to it. It was a raspy sort of a tone. It made you want to close your ears and run away.

I took a step towards her, "What do you mean, go away? You broke the effing mirror! Why did you do it?"

"I said go away!"

The way she said it, it was enough to make the bravest person shrivel up in fear.

I went to my room quickly and shut the door.

It had been weeks since that incident. The bathroom mirror had been smashed too. I mostly kept out of her way.

I was supposed to go out that day. Alicia was curled up on the sofa, staring blankly at the walls.

The girl is crazy.

Near the door, I pulled out a mirror, checking up on my makeup. Then I saw something that me scream bloody murder.

Through my mirror, I saw a girl sitting on the sofa. She had the most horrifying face with blood dripping from it.

However, when I turned around, all I could see was Alicia. No blood no nothing. Just Alicia. Staring right at me.

I looked back into the mirror. And I saw the ghost again. Only this time, I heard Alicia's voice in my head - "You're dead."
