Dream Weaver III: Fearing the Nightmare

5:00 in the morning, Mhart was awakened by the dream that almost made him uneasy and bothered; the incident that may happen to Janine Edinburgh. It has been 3 weeks since they left Silica Town, and they are expecting for Janine's arrival this day, 10:00 am on Friday. So, Mhart decided to start the morning early and right. 20 minutes after he washed his face, an explosion happened outside their house that awakened Rose, Ivan, and John. Mhart hurriedly grabbed his sword and ran outside their house. He was shocked by the little damage that the explosion made. So he kept his eyes open and explored their place to see who made the explosion. Because of the little amount of light surrounding the place, it became difficult for him to see who did it. A minute passed when he noticed a rocket approaching their house. Mesmerized of what he must do, he readies himself for what may happen because he knows that his sword can do nothing with a rocket. Meters away from their house, Mhart was shocked of a hurriedly launched rocket from his back and he saw the rockets exploded from mid-air. It was Ivan who launched the rocket!

Mhart : Thanks, Ivan! AND Where did you get that freaking rocket launcher?
Ivan : Well, Mr. Wilson gave this to me while you were hospitalized.
Rose : You're being so selfish Mhart! You knew that an explosion happened and another rocket approaches our house, why didn't you call us up?
Mhart : Sorry for that. I don't even know that the target of that rocket is our house so I decided to do this alone and not to disturb you guys.
John : (whispering to Ivan) Here's another war of lovers.
Rose : Are you saying something John?
John : Oh! No nothing!
Mhart : (smiled) Stop it guys. John, take care of Rose for a while and try to arrange the damages in our house if there's any. Ivan, come with me. I think I know where the rocket was launched.
John : Sure thing Mhart!
Rose : Shouldn't you take me also?
Mhart : It may be dangerous out there Rose. Ivan and I can take care of this.
Rose : Alright. Just take care.
Mhart : Of course we will. Let's go, Ivan.
Ivan : Alright! Let's rock things out!

Mhart knew that the area where the rocket was launched is not that far from their location. He ran hurriedly with Ivan to the location. Minutes have passed; Mhart and Ivan saw some equipment that the suspect used to launch the rockets. Mhart scanned the area because they may not be far enough to escape. Ivan noticed a broken necklace that he assumes to belong to them.

Ivan : Mhart, take a look at this. I saw a necklace in the bushes. The suspects may be heading north-east, and that is heading to Dune City.
Mhart : (shocked) This ... this necklace ... I know this necklace!
Ivan : Really? So you know who the suspect is?
Mhart : Yes. I have no doubt that he is the one behind this!
Ivan : Maybe, they ran away when they noticed that someone counter-attacked their rocket. But, who is he, or maybe, who are they?
Mhart : That's true. And the man who owns this necklace is the son of a gang leader named Arckin Drake. His son is Andrew Drake.
Ivan : So, that Andrew is the one who did this?
Mhart : Yeah. He's the one!
Ivan : But why did he do this crap? And are you sure that he is the one who owns this necklace?
Mhart : I have no idea. But, I guess it has something to do with Janine Edinburgh. That necklace was once owned by Janine. It was given to her by her mother.
Ivan : How come? And how did that necklace be owned by Andrew if the real owner is Janine?
Mhart : Janine sold it to him as payment for their family's debt but even if they paid their debts and sacrificed the necklace, it is still not enough so Arckin Drake ordered their family to be killed. And Janine survived because she was taken by her aunt in Silica Town, 5 years ago.
Ivan : But I thought, her parents died in a car crash?
Mhart : No. They were shot by a sniper who was caught by the Five Sword Warriors that resulted for their car to crash. We were a little late to rescue Janine's parents. So we just decided to catch the sniper who did it, and fortunately, he admitted to us that Arckin Drake is the one who ordered the killing.
Ivan : What is Janine's family's connection to Arckin Drake?
Mhart : I don't know either. All I know is that they have debts to pay to Arckin Drake. And the rest, that's for us to know later when Janine arrived in our place. For now, we must head back home.
Ivan : Shouldn't we follow them to Dune City?
Mhart : It is enough for us that we know now who did this. Let's head back home.
Ivan : Alright.
