A/N During the movie nothing really happens during regionals, so I've decided to skip to Semi-Finals.

Ever since their date, the three of them had been inseparable, well until recently that is.
Beca moved some things into the older girls' apartment, some clothes, and a toothbrush, (even though she mostly just wore Aubrey and Chloe's large t-shirts to bed) and spent at least half of the week over there.
Aubrey and Beca agreed to keep arguments about the set-list to inside rehearsals only, but it was hard.
Sometimes they'd be listening to the radio and Beca would say something snarky causing the blonde to snap or vice versa. It didn't help that they barely passed regionals, saved only by (in Beca's opinion) Fat Amy's dance moves and big personality.
But leading up to semi-finals, things just got worse. It may have involved both the DJ and the dictator being stubborn, and not talk to each other besides.... well scratch that because they only yelled about the set-list, to the Bella's and especially Chloe and Rachel's dismay.
The three-person relationship was not in a good place, and it was taking its toll on all three of them, with Chloe beginning to lose her sunny personality, Aubrey becoming more stressed, and Beca to start sinking and building up her walls again.
It didn't help that Rachel was embroiled in a half flirting, half avoiding thing with Santana and Quinn, having walked into the aforementioned making out once (how was she supposed to know what a sock on a door meant?), and was not thinking clear enough to help her sister.
Overall things were bad, and about to get a lot worse......

Beca sighed as she sat on her sister's bed, tapping her fingers on the warm yellow duvet in intervals of three.
Rachel was stuffing all of her performance things into a bag, including cough drops, lemons, honey, a thermos, and plenty of other things to make sure her vocal chords were in peak condition.
"You know Rach, I love Bree and Chlo with all my heart, but Bree gets so pushy sometimes. I mean I know she wants to win and all and that's awesome but sometimes she oversteps." the DJ said, staring at the ceiling.
"Well you know she wants to win right?" Rachel said. "I can understand that because that's how I feel. But she has been a lot, but she's just stressed!"
Beca sighed. "I wish she would just listen, we would win if we could do something current instead of "I saw the sign!"." Beca protested, imitating the dance that had been drilled into her brain.
A pound on their door interrupted them. Fat Amy yelled in "Come on aca-pitches, cap says it's time to go!"
"Coming!" Rachel yelled. She zipped up her bag before turning to Beca. She sat down beside her sister and put her hand on her shoulder.
"I wish I could tell you that everything will be all peachy, but you know what, life isn't always like that. Just be kind to Aubrey, you have your share of struggles and she has hers. Just follow along with her alright? Because you love her and you got to do things for love." Rachel gave her sister a hug.
Beca nodded firmly. "I love her, so I'll do this."
Rachel smiled. "That's the spirit!" She stood up and held out her hand. Beca chuckled and took it. "Let's go kick some ass!" she yelled, smiling as she heard the choruses of "yeah!"s from all around the house.
The two girls left the room hand in hand.
