Ch. 3 beau brooks love story

Ninas P.O.V

"THEIR HERE!" My mom called up to me. I ran downstairs. I waited for a few minutes. Then they came in. "Hi" my mom greeted them. "Hi I'm Nina" I said. "Nice to meet you I'm Gina brooks and this is my son beau" she introduced me. Me and beau exchanged smiles. Then I said "I'm Nina" and I shook his hand. "I'm beau" he said. I saw that it was only Gina and Beau. Where was his dad? Was he in the car still? Was he working for he night? Could he have left like my dad? "Umm where's Mr.Brooks?" I said hoping that what I was thinking wasn't the case. "He umm he left when Beau was young." She said sadly. "Oh I'm so sorry I didn't know. But my dad too he left when I was 10." I managed to get out without crying. "Oh I'm sorry and it's alright you didn't know" Gina kindly said. I smiled and Beau kept looking at me. He is like so freaking cute he has the prettiest eyes ever!

Beaus P.O.V

I finally found someone who has been through what I have been through. And the bonus is she is stunning. She is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. Not thinking I instantly said " mom?" "Yes" she replied. "Can me and Nina umm go upstairs to you know get to know each other?" I asked. "Sure" she smiled.

Nina's P.O.V

Did he just ask to go upstairs with me? OMG what is going on? Nobody and I mean nobody has ever even tried to get to know me they just assume things like this one girl Ashley in my school had never even talked to me before and one day I was waking to class and she screamed "WHORE" and I kept waking and started crying she started laughing and then was like "oops!". What a bitch.

Beaus P.O.V

I followed her upstairs. We went into her room. I sat down and motioned for her to come sit down. We sat together. "So what's up?" I said awkwardly. "Nothing you?" She laughed. She had the cutest laugh and the most perfect smile. I sat closer to her. She didn't seem to mind.

"Wanna play a board game?" She asked. "Sure what game?" I said. "I know it's gonna sound childish but what about operation?" She laughed. "No way I love hat game" I giggled. "Me too" she told me. She got up and walked to her closet from there I saw here push up on to her tippy toes and pull out the game. She came back over holding the game. She went to open it and I went to open it as well. I grabbed the same side as her now knowing that she would grab that side. Our hands touched a little. "Oh sorry" I said "it's fine" she smiled.

Nina's P.O.V

I put my hands on the right side of the lie to open up the game as did Beau. Our hands softly touched. "Oh sorry" he said. "It's fine" I gave him a small smile. I pulled off the lid and began to set it up. "Do you want to go first?" I asked. "No it's okay you can if you want to?" He said. "No you go first" I said childishly. "Okay" he smiled at me. That smile, those eyes got me every time. He picked up the tweezers and went for one of the slots. "Beep!" The games sounded. "You didn't get it!" I teased. "Shut up!" He laughed and threw a pillow at me. I threw one back. Then he picked one up and I quickly got up and started running around the room. The 'pillow fight' quickly escalated into a game of tag. As I ran around to room Beau chased after me with a pillow. He pinned me down in my bed. He was on top of me holding my hands. "Stop" I laughed. He rolled over to the side of me. "Hey guys Beau is gonna leave in a few so clean up please" my mom came in. "Okay" I said. We put away the game and put back the pillows. I grabbed a piece of paper and a pencil. I wrote my name on it as well as my number and jotted down call me with a little heart at the bottom. I folded the paper up and set the pencil down on my dresser. "Here" I handed him the piece of paper.
