Chapter 42~ Can't You See?

Drew's POV

Me and Zoey were walking to the stadium to find out if emblem3 got into the top 30 or not. I was so anxious to find out, and so nervous at the same time. If we get sent home it's back to just writing music in my basement with the boys. I want to write music in a studio, having fans stand outside waiting for us to come out too take pictures. I guess all this anxiety made me squeeze zoeys hand really hard.

She nudged me, "Something wrong?"

Yes.

"No, just nervous." I shrugged.

"Oh stop being a baby, we all know you're going to get in the top 30." She said.

Zoey gives me so much confidence.

"Since when am I baby?" I teased.

"Since the day I first met you. For god sakes you were wearing diapers and I was creeped out." She laughed.

The first day me and zoey met was when Wesley came home with his new girlfriend Becca and Keaton came with his new girlfriend Brianna. All of her friends came too because they were all best friends. I still remember me and Tyler Case (our best friend) were playing a game and we were dressed in diapers. Then all of a sudden they walked in. My eyes landed on zoey immediately and I thought she was gorgeous. But she was with Damian so I couldn't say anything. But I really liked her.

"Well you guys walked in at an awkward moment." I laughed, "But I bet you enjoyed the sight."

"My boyfriends so weird." She giggled covering her face with her hands.

"You love me." I smiled kissing her lips.

"I do." She cooed gripping onto my hand.

I smiled and we walked into the stadium showing our passes to the security guards. As we walked in I could see our friends backstage already.

"Where's the rest of the gang?" I asked.

"Already on stage. You're like 2 minutes late." Kristin said.

"So specific." I laughed.

"Ya, get out of here!" She shouted laughing.

I gave zoey one last kiss and ran out to the stage. I saw Wes, Keaton, Becca, and Brianna waving at me. I walked to them and felt like a loner. They were being all smoochy with their girlfriends while I sat there watching them. I want zoey here.

"Alright guys lets get started." Simon said sitting down in his chair.

All judges walked in smiling. Demi had the biggest smile and she immediately waved at us. Everyone stood up and we waited for what they had to say.

"Alright." Reid said, "It was a terribly hard decision to make trust me. It took us forever to pick. But we did it somehow."

"Some of you were put into groups because we thought you would work better like that." Britney said.

"So don't freak out if your name doesn't get called, that might mean you were put in a group." Demi smiled.

"Lets begin." Simon said.

"First person that's in the top 30 is.. Katie McKnee." Demi clapped. (made up name).

It continued for a few minutes and not once did I hear any of our names. You could literally feel the tension in the room each time someone's name was called out. They were on the 12th person now. I looked over at Wes and he nodded at me. Another name that wasn't ours was called.

"Emblem3." Demi chirped into the microphone.

I felt relief rush through me and then all 3 of us started screaming and jumping. I went to the middle of the stage and bowed to them.
