The two bands once had a argument after Pierce The Veil did their cover of "Beat It" just shortly after Fall Out Boy had released their own cover of the same song, FOB accused PTV of copying their idea but PTV denied knowing about their cover. This leaves some fans of each band still disliking the others over this argument.
