Bionicle: Renewal [Wattys 2017]

This story took me literally years to write. I started writing it before Bionicle Gen 2 was even a thing, but stopped after I found out Bionicle would be rebooted. I decided I still wanted to write a Bionicle fanfiction, but I wasn't sure what I wanted it to be about. After seeing the offical animated episodes, I decided I wanted to re-write it myself. I held off for a while because I wanted to see how the new story would go so I wouldn't mess up the canon, but then it got cancelled in 2016, so I started working on it again. So the first paragraph of the story was written in 2015, and the last one was written in 2017.

I mentioned the Six Warriors of Darkness during the story a few times. This is an original concept I came up with. I figured that if Ekimu had the Toa, Makuta should have six warriors to work for him as well. Four of these are my own creation. There's Serro, Venosha, and Sorlos, along with another one I don't have a name for yet. I'll post pictures and possibly instructions for them too later.

The Kopaka/Gali/Tahu love triangle I wrote came from another Bionicle fanfiction I wrote a while before I started writing this one. I abandoned it pretty early on since I didn't really like it that much, but I kept the love triangle for this one.

Tahu and the Toa will return along with Godzilla from my Godzilla Warriors series in my upcoming crossover book, Godzilla VS Tahu.
