The Morning After:
taehyung had posted a picture of him and jeongguk together from last night,

taehyung was trying to remember whatever happened last night, and when he did, he smiled brightly at the thought of jeongguk taking care of him.
he remembered when jeongguk dropped his towel, when jeongguk consoled him when he got lost for a few minutes, when jeongguk offered to hold his hand, the numerous times he got called baby by jeongguk, and when he was laying down with jeongguk in large field.
there was one thing he couldn't remember, and he didn't know it completely changed the relationship with him and jeongguk, causing it to be more intimate to say the least.
jeongguk walked in on a smiley taehyung and asked,
" what has gotten you all smiley, baby? "
taehyung stared at the astonishing man in front of him, already ready with clothes that were not his sleep wear.
taehyung gave a short and meaningful answer,
" you. "
jeongguk wasn't one to blush for anyone, anyone but kim taehyung.
" awhh babe. "
jeongguk walked over to sit next to taehyung on the bed, he put his arm around taehyung, only to have the younger lean his head on jeongguk's chest.
" how do you feel about going out? after you get ready. "
" brunch? "
" mhm, i mean it is only 8 am but we could go around places then find a place to eat? "
" i'd like that, oppa. "
" do you like coffee? "
" i'm more of a sweet type of person. "
" well you are as sweet as candy. "
taehyung blushed and nudged jeongguk a little.
" oi~ that's not what i meant, oppa~ "
" i know. you like peppermint ice lattes with one packet of sugar and one packet of brown sugar. "
" wait, how do you know that? "
" you think i don't remember our messages? of course i do, you told me. "
" well yes, and i remember you like iced americano with a small shot of syrup. "
" well you remember my favorite. "
" well it is, i remember all your favorites. "
" do you remember my ultimate favorite? "
" besides your coffee, isn't singing your ultimate favorite? "
" you're wrong. "
" what? but then- you told me- how could- what?! "
" taehyung... "
" what? "
" you're my favorite. "
taehyung paused, sat normally, and turned his head to jeongguk.
he whispered,
" you cheesy fuck. "
taehyung just stood up and walked into the bathroom to get ready, jeongguk was blushing and muttered,
" that was.. hot. "

taehyung went out of the bathroom using nothing but a sweater and his underwear,
" oppa? have you seen my pants? "
there were sunglasses hanging from taehyung's ears to his chin ( note: u know that thing tae does if he isn't properly using his glasses ).
jeongguk looked at taehyung literally snorted, as taehyung had his legs in a triangle position and hands on his hips.
jeongguk took a quick picture him and just laughed again,
" aha, oh my god. you look so meme~ "
taehyung looked at jeongguk in the most blunt facial expression, and just said,
" did you- are... did you just say ' so meme '? "
" yes? "
" okay, nevermind. i'm finding my pants on my own, hmph. "
jeongguk stood up and chuckled,
" aha, come on tae. i'm 21, i'm not 57. "
" well you sounded like a dad who knew nothing about what's cool and just learned how to dab, okay thanks. "
" such wow, much education. "
tae backed up from jeongguk and just sighed,
" i'm officially done, i'm dating a 57 year old. "
jeongguk turned his head and smirked,
" dating, you say? "
taehyung realized what he had said and widened his eyes,
" w-wait that's not wh-what i m-meant! i-i mean- "
jeongguk had stood up and put his arms around taehyung's waist from the back and rested his head on his shoulder.
" tae, i don't mind. i would actually be happy to. "
" r-really? "
" mhm. "
" you like me? "
" isn't it obvious, kim taehyung? "
taehyung turned around and faced jeongguk, giving him a hug from then on.
" no, it isn't. after about 4
months, why haven't you asked me? "
jeongguk cupped tae's face in his hands, he got closer by an inch.
" because.. "
" because? "
" i've been waiting to ask you face to face, and no if you think i'm asking you now, i'm not. i don't want to ask you to become my boyfriend in a hotel room. now, let's go out. "

taehyung eventually found his pants, and after what had happened in the room, he was smiling all the way.
jeongguk and taehyung were hand in hand walking around the city, waiting for it to be 11 am.
besides having themselves holding hands, they had their drinks in the other.
jeongguk sipped on an americano as expected, and taehyung had a peppermint ice latte.
" hyung? "
" hmm? "
" guess what. "
" what? "
taehyung stopped in front of jeongguk and squished jeongguk's face
" you're cute, i like cute things. "
jeongguk laughed, hardly because of the squished face,
" well, that means you like yourself? "
" well not me exactly. "
" hm? "
" more of you. "
taehyung showed his rectangle-shaped smile and walked along, letting go of jeongguk's face,
" hyung, let's go! it's 11, i googled a place earlier. "
jeongguk was left dumbfounded, but gladly followed the happy dongsaeng anyways.

brunch and a few hours had passed, the two were sat in the large garden that was owned by the hotel. it was placed beside the swimming pool, which was opened 24 hours. it was empty, except for the staff sat way back and the two korean boys.
it was 11 pm, the two were already stripping into their swimming trunks to relax in the cold water.
taehyung admired the built older in front of him. jeongguk rolled his shoulder, causing them to flex.
taehyung, as the cheeky boy he was, pushed jeongguk into the water. the loud sound of water splashing was heard,
" ah! taehyungie! "
" hehe, sorry oppa. "
taehyung went into the water as well, swimming to jeongguk to only put his arms around him.
jeongguk leaned into taehyung's ear,
" we're alone. "
they looked at each other, rather intensely, in awe.
" i know we are, oppa. "

the two leaned in, jeongguk held taehyung's neck, while taehyung pulled jeongguk closer.

taehyung whispered,
" i love you. "
their foreheads were pressed together.
" taehyung, i love you too. "

they kissed.
