ALEXANDRIA

I just finished my daily lesson with Ms. Adams. We talked about philosophy, science and all that nonsense. Don't get me wrong, I love learning I just honestly don't get why i need to learn how our muscle works.

Unfortunately, I didn't see that mystery boy in the garden yesterday. I didn't even know I was looking for him until I found myself staring at our garden again. “ Ms. Alexandria?” someone asked while opening the door. It's just Diana. “ Why are you calling me that?” I asked irritated. She knows I hate it when she calls me that. It makes me feel old.

“Oh, I thought Ms. Adams is still here.” she smiled and went beside me. “So … how was it?” she asked.

“ How was what?”

“You know, the dinner with the Horans. I heard that Niall boy is gorgeous.” she said and I rolled my eyes at her.

“ He's my childhood friend. I don't see him like that.”

“ Yeah... right.” Diana said while smirking at me.

I remembered our dinner with the Horans. They served a lot of food. They even hired musicians to play for us while we eat. I don't get it. They always eat and come here. Why is it so extravagant now? What's special about this night.

We welcomed the Horans in our large front doors. The first to come out of the carriage was Bob followed by Maura then Greg and last but not the least Niall. They exchange pleasantries and I felt out of place so I went inside our music room and played the piano. I love playing the piano. It's how I express myself. I just feel free when I play it. It's like I'm in a whole different world when I'm playing the piano. I was so engrossed in playing that I didn't notice someone entered the room.

“Wow” I jumped out of my skin. I thought I was alone.

“ You scared me!”

“ Sorry, it's just that you play beautifully. I never learned to play this thing” Niall pointed to our grand piano. “ Maybe it's because of Ms. Adams. She never liked me. That old hag” I laughed at that.

I remembered when we were younger Ms. Adams and Niall don't get along. Niall was hyper as a kid. Always playing around and not really listening to our lessons. When we had our break one time, we went outside to play with his new toy car. We played it for a while till we got bored. We went back inside and we kind of left the car and Ms. Adams slipped on it. Since then Ms. Adams had this secret hatred to Niall which was kind of obvious tbh.

“What can I say, I'm a better student than you.” I laughed.

“Yeah right.”

Niall and I talked. It was like the old times. He still teased me and we laughed at almost anything. Remembering our childhood and the memories we shared. I can't help but notice that he changed the last time I saw him. But I can't pinpoint it..he's taller ,more muscular and maybe a bit more mature? I can't also deny that he looks  good. With his soft looking blond hair and sparkling blue eyes..his small but cute nose...his soft lips..

“Done staring?”

I was pulled out my daydream. “ No, I was not staring.” I said a little too fast. I felt my face and cheeks heat up.

“Then what's this? He said while pointing at my lips.

“What?” I checked my cheeks and lips but there was nothing on it.

“ You're drooling.” he laughed when he saw my shocked face. I hit him hard that made him stop laughing.

“OW! You've been stronger” Niall said while holding his hand.

“Looks who's laughing now.” I said while I chuckled.

We continued teasing each other until they had to return to their house because it was getting late.

“Well, I guess this is goodbye...for now. I'll see you soon” Niall said while holding my right hand and placing a gentle kiss on it.

The night went better than I expected. I must admit that I had fun. It was always fun when the Horans are here especially Niall. They're like family to me.

Diana then proceeded telling me how her day went bursting my daydream bubble. That's what I like about her. There's never a dull moment when I'm with her. “ And then Jake spilled hot water on Mat, you here me? You should have seen Mat's face it was hilarious.” she said in between laughs.

I find myself staring at the same boy again in our garden. He's back was at us. But I could still see the curls in his hair and his muscular body “ Do you know him?” I asked surprised to voice out my thoughts. “Who?” Diana asked while looking at where I’m pointing.

“Oh him. He's Harry, Harry Styles. He's the new gardener in replacement of Bob.” she said. “Why did you ask?”

“ Uhmm.. nothing. I was just … curious.” I smiled wishing she won't see that I’m lying.

“He's from the South. He's actually my childhood friend. But it was ages ago. When mother and I moved here we lost contact with his family. His mother and father just recently passed so he decided to move away from their town. He couldn't bear to be reminded of them considering he's an only child and doesn't have any family left. So my mother asked him if he wanted to work here cause Bob retired .. so yeah..”

“Oh.” was the only reply that I could say.

"Are you interested in him?" she asked teasing me.

" No I'm not. I was just curious." I said firmly.

"Right..."

We talked for a few more minutes until she had to go back to work.

“Well I have to go now. Mother must be wondering where I am now.” Diana said while standing.

I looked at our window and saw Harry.

Harry was his name.. but I still want to know him more.
