Love sick | Hwiyoung ♡

"It's not fair, I want to go to school" You just whined as you kicked your blanket playfully.
You caught cold today, other than all days. Your cold decided to visit you today, the day you were going to have lunch with him in break time.
" (Y/N), don't be stubborn. You always wanna find a way to skip your class, what's new?" You friend said as she placed a towel on your forehead
"Who knows? I suddenly wanna study hard. Are you going to stop me now?"
You actually never missed a chance to skip school, or to fall sick. You'd keep playing video games and watching dramas all the day. Everything changed once he entered the school, you changed completely.
"Yeah you wanna study hard in other phrase, you want to see Hwiyoung" Your friend suddenly let out his name and you felt the world stopped for a moment.
He is the transferred student from the first term, you too found yourselves liking same bands, colors and things so that helped much in your building a good friendship between you. In the other side, you couldn't resist how beautiful and caring he was, obviously you fell in love.

"He's my friend ok, stop annoying me. I'm sick" You hide your red face from her hardly under the blanket
"I'm going for now, I'll comeback to bring you my copybooks since you wanna study hard" Your friend just teased you as she went out, leaving you upset sitting on the bed.

At school ;

The guys students are already gathering in the classroom, but you haven't show up yet. He was looking around, is he looking for you? Yes he is.
Your place is empty, you are the first one to come since your home is so near by.
"Did something happen?" Hwiyoung said as the teacher started calling names

Kwon Jihyo, Present.
Im Rina, Present.
Kim Hwiyoung, Present.
Kim Saena, Present.
Jeon Jinyoung, Present.
(Y/N), Absent.

The teacher suddenly rose his head looking for you as well, "Oh, why (Y/N) is not here today?"
None of the student knew until your friend started talking.
"I left her feeling unwell at home seongsaeng-nim, she wanted to come but she won't handle."
Hwiyoung's eyes became wide as he heard Saena saying such, so she was sick? That's what he thought of.
The teacher nodded and asked your friend to bring you notes of what happened in today's lesson so you won't miss something.
"is she that sick?" Hwiyoung asked Saena as she was about to sit down
"Uh, she is alone there. I'll check her up when I'm out, she wanted to have lunch with you today but yeah" She replied
" Thank you"

You were thinking that have to pass a whole day without looking at him or talking to him, that's torturing. What will they do? And what is he wearing today? With who is he going to have lunch now? All these question came up to your mind as time pass by. You felt that your body is getting weaker because of the fever and you couldn't even move under your blanket when you suddenly heard your phone ringing.
You had no power to answer plus the phone is not in the room. You decided to leave it, but then you realized it's Hwiyoung who is calling.
You set his ringtone to a different one so you won't ignore it as others, you have to answer.
"Why now why" You said as you tried to hold yourself together and get out looking for your phone, it was right on the table.

"He-Hello? Hwiyoung~"
"(Y/N),Is everything good with you? Your friend said you're sick and you won't be here today"
"Y-es, sadly I feel so sick so I won't be able to come over"
"Is there anybody there who would take care of you?"
"No, actually my mom and dad you know they don't live with me. There is only Sae and she's coming after finishing classes"
"I'm coming"
He is coming!! This word made your heart pound non stop, you couldn't even focus on the call. You were about to fly and throw the phone away and die of happiness.
"(Y/N), are you there?"
"Oh, I'm sorry. No need, I'll be alright okay. I don't want to bother you"
" I don't say it twice, wait for me"

You just stayed shocked in your place for like 5 minutes, hugging your phone and your red cheeks about exploding when you realized that he'll be here in seconds since the school is so close to your place.
What would you wear in this situation, your fate is to meet him in your pink pijjama which is full of cute drawings, with your kitten headband and red cheeks. Enough that you're always weird around him, and now wearing such? That's ruining your image for the 30 upcoming years.
Hearing the ring of the bell just made you gasp, you probably don't even know if the door is in this direction. All your thoughts are mixed now, there is only Hwiyoung everywhere and heartbeats sound in your ears.

You walked calmly towards the door, opened it as you saw him standing in front of you. Smiling face, a blond hair and beautiful eyes full of worry. It's your first time seeing him with such expression, a serious one. He walked in and put his hand on your forehead, shutting the door by his right leg.
"You're still not fully alright, why are you even not in bed." He just said as he pushed your back playfully to your room, you were really speechless.
He helped you getting to your bed, covering you with a blanket , putting over the towel again on your forehead and giving you that warm look.
"I brought you something to eat, it's still hot. You can eat this and sleep a bit, until I cook some soup for you. The kitchen is this way right?"
You suddenly looked down then give him that shy smile "I'm sorry for the trouble"
" Is trouble something to eat?" He laughed then he nods "I'm fine with trouble as it's from you. Now sleep"

He closed your room as he went out to the kitchen to cook you something, he just chuckled when he saw your clothes everywhere and some leftovers on the table.
"This girl is really messy, more than what I'm"
He was trying to clean things up when he suddenly saw the phone thrown on the sofa, the first thing he noticed made him smile so wide.
It was a picture of you two together in that one event, you two had those smiley faces. You were doing one of your cute poses as always, he just chuckled once again when he remembered that he's using the same photo as his phone wallpaper, leaving a sigh "I wish you'd know what I feel about you".

Hwiyoung just finished cleanning around your house a bit and preparing you a soup for dinner, then went to check you up. You were still heavily sleeping, he just sit beside you, checking if you're doing better and holding your hand as he fell asleep without noticing as well. You suddenly started to wake up, rising your head slowly and opening your eyes carefully you just found him.
You were about to scream but your heart did it instead, he was too close. Just a bit between your face and his, you turned red when he opened his eyes suddenly. You felt awkward yet liked it when he kept looking into your eyes.
"You're up already" He said without moving inch, giving you "answer me" look
You started muttering and you didn't know what to say "Aren't you too close, you'll catch cold too"
"I'm sick already, I'm a love sick since I met you (Y/N)"
Your heart can't take it anymore, you felt yourself drowning in his eyes and words. He suddenly approached to you leaving a small peck on your red lips, and a huge amount of butterflies playing in your tummy.
He just pulled out saying " Aren't you going to say something?"
A minute of silence came out suddenly, he was trying to explain himself saying that he loves you but you just said "No-"
"Are you rejecting me?"
You laughed as his puppy eyes look as you threw a pillow in his face, playfully teasing him "Yes, accept the fate"
"Yeah, as like you'd find someone as handsome as I'm" he said and looked away
"I love you too, hear it? Now go and get me my soup"
" Why I love you while you're too weird?"
"Ask your doctor, love sick."
