CHAPTER TWO: i like you.
Marina woke up and the first thing she did was take her cellphone. She could have gone to the bathroom to take a shower or just get up to eat her breakfast but she didn't. She just took her phone and started writing on it.
Give me the next clue. sent 10:00
Marina stared at her phone for a while before leaving it back on the table and getting up. She got into the little bathroom she had in her room and did her needs before washing her face and brushing her teeth.
The girl quickly went back to where she was before and took her cellphone once again, waiting for something that didn't happen.
Marina took a heavy breath when she noticed there wasn't any new messages. She gave a large sigh before she wrote again.
Hello? sent 10:07
Marina looked one last time at the screen before blocking it and letting it next to a little photo of her with the Avengers crew.
The girl went to the kitchen, not even bothering to take the cellphone with her. If she did so, she would be even more obsessed with the whole situation.
When she arrived at the kitchen, Tony Stark was in there. She didn't say a thing to him while she poured her cereal into a bowl. The man looked too focused on the little thing he had between his hands to even talk to her.
Marina started eating in silence until Tony looked at her and laughed. The girl raised an eyebrow, not understanding the joke.
"Are you serious? Cereal? Please, Mar! Live a little and drink some vodka," Tony mocked with a bottle in hand.
Marina frowned and looked at him with wide eyes even though she knew him pretty well. "Tony, who the hell drinks vodka at ten am?"
"Well, me for starters." Marina laughed while he just looked at her without any humour on his face. The girl took the bottle out of his hands before taking a big gulp.
"That is not a lady-like thing," Steve mocked when he entered the place and looked at the girl.
Marina stopped drinking when she recognised the voice and looked wide-eyed at Steve Rogers. Her cheeks turned red while Steve just smiled at her.
Marina tried to explain herself, but she just kept stuttering. "I'm sorry but, uhm, it was Tony's fault! I didn't want to, really-"
Tony looked at her in disbelief. "I didn't make you do it. It was only a suggestion."
"Please, shut up," Marina said before looking back at the blonde man. "I'm so sorry, Steve." She looked at him with big eyes, trying to convince him.
