Suddenly, an idea popped into John's head. It was marvellous.
"Lets go mining!" John said. At first Alan thought John was just joking. But then he realised that he wasn't. "With all of my dads mining equipment on a rainy day like this, it will be the perfect thing to do."
John's dad was an expert miner. That's why he's alway coming home with valuables.
"Well we don't have much of a choice really so...what could possibly go wrong?" Alan replied. Later that day, Alan was at his house waiting for a reply from John about using his dad's mining equipment. But there was no text indicating John had the equipment. But then the doorbell rang. Alan rushed up to the door snatching the keys from the draw and opened the door. It was John with his dad's equipment. "Perfect!" Said Alan. "Now let's get going!" They both ran to a nearby woods where John's dad usually goes mining.
"It's quite lucky I got these actually." John yelled in the thunder and rain. "My dad was actually about to go out mining but he decided not to."
"I think it's just beginners luck!" Replied Alan
