Dustin's P.O.V
It was a warm morning to start my junior year. Not that I'd be going to school half the time anyway. I don't give a shit about my grades or my 'future' or whatever the hell we go to school for.
I stayed up till about three in the morning because Jt, our gang leader, wanted me to go pick up a few things from this one guys house. I was guessing it was drugs but I didn't look in the bag. And when I finally got to sleep, my best friend, Landon, was kicking my leg saying we have to get to school.
So here I was sitting down in front of the school wearing my ripped jeans that I always wear, a black shirt, and my West Side Wolves leather jacket. All of the gang that still went to school sat around me including the head of our little group at school, Alex.
"Don't you hate this fucking place?" Landon asked as he pulled out a cigarette from his jacket pocket.
"Who doesn't hate this place?" I say handing him a lighter.
"I'll tell you who. The Hollaway kids and the Paige sisters," Alex says. They were right. The Hollaway kids were all about school and the brother was all about sports. The Paige sisters were the cheerleading girls with all the school spirit in their skirt pocket.
I didn't know much about Kyle Hollaway except that he was the quarterback of the football team and an athlete legend.
Now Josie Hollaway I knew more about. Mostly because half the guys in the school would like to know what it's like to kiss her or better yet screw her. But of course the mystery remands for the West Side Wolves because hey, pretty little rich girls don't go for dirtbags like us right?
I had a few classes with her last year, always did the homework, always knew the answers to every question, president of student council, I think she was a cheerleader. It pissed me off that she was so good at everything. And I was... well me. Not that I didn't like being known as one of the bad guys at school. It felt good. With the boys making sure not to make eye contact with you, the girls all throwing themselves at you- unless you're Josie then of course she doesn't even mumble a 'hi' to you in the hallway.
"Oh look here's the preppy little devils now," Landon said hitting my shoulder as my head snapped up only to make eye contact with the big green eyes of a certain Hollaway girl. Her eyes traveled up and down my body she squinted her eyes when she saw a cigarette in my hands.
She looked at everyone else but her eyes immediately went back to me. She was wearing these tight skinny jeans that hugged her ass nicely, a loose green shirt that went down low enough that you could see a hint of her cleavage. Her hair was in two braids that made those green eyes that was her best asset really stand out. A smile came onto my lips. Her brother glanced over at me, glared, then guided his sister into the building my eyes following her.
"Dustin," Alex yelled hitting the back of my head. I stood up and turned to him.
"What the fuck was that for?" I asked putting the cigarette in my mouth.
"You were staring at that Hollaway girl," he said. I shrugged.
"So?"
"Don't get messed up with girls like that. She's a good girl that goes for the golden boys like Justin Cain," Alex said pointing to the golden boy of our Junior class. He was the type of guy every girl went for, he was good looking, tall, and everything a girl could want because he was a prep.
I was a very attractive guy, I had nice muscles, abs, I was 6'2", tan and if I wasn't in the West Side Wolves then girls would think I'm their perfect guy just like Justin.
"Look I was just looking at her because she looked hot in those jeans. That's it," I said, which was mostly true. Alex sighed and slapped my back.
"Good. Because the last thing we need is for you to change to good for her. Now we need to talk about the deal tonight," Alex whispered.
