Friday Night News:
Sociopath Found Dead In Own Home

A 34-year-old man by the name of Clark Stevenson committed suicide late Wednesday night when police showed at his house to arrest him. Stevenson was a psychology professor at a local college who had developed a strong obsession over a young college student named Cathrine Summers earlier this year.

Soon after this, he kidnapped and tortured the partner of Summers, Violet Fryer, for several weeks before she was finally found and taken to a hospital. Violet Fryer suffers from several bruised and broken ribs, a fractured jaw and cheekbone, Septicemia (or more commonly known as blood-poisoning), several stab wounds and infections, and has lost both of her eyes due to Stevenson's constant torture.

Cathrine Summers and her partner had been put under protective services when Stevenson attempted to kill Violet Fryer once again. Stevenson's attempt to kill Fryer wasn't successful and Stevenson was chased out of the hospital. Violet Fryer is expected to make a full recovery from her injuries.

Soon after the hospital incident, police tracked the license plate of Stevenson's car to a house that was thought to have been abandoned years ago. When surrounded Wednesday night, Stevenson refused to surrender to police. Officers had no choice but to break the door down to get Stevenson themselves.

Before police could arrest him, Stevenson shot himself in the head which killed him instantly. Uncovered at Stevenson's house was a personal journal and a suicide note. The journal's contents is not being revealed to the public, but the suicide note is released to say:

Only in death can I be with Cathrine. It is there where I will be reunited with my dearest love. I will wait for her until it is her time. I love you Cathrine.
Love,
Your Soul Mate
