~~ Zoey's POV ~~ 

I felt safe in his arms. It was dark and Jaebum and I were the only ones there. I sighed and leaned against him. His chin resting on my shoulder. 

"Jaebum, I meant what I said." I sighed. "I love you, that will never go away but for now I think we should focus on our lives." 

"I understand." He sighed. 

We sat in comfortable silence. What felt like hours was only minutes. 

"I think we should go now." Jaebum stood, helping me up. "Don't worry mama Palmer, I promise to love and cherish her. I will never hurt her." 

Jaebum's words made my heart skip a beat. I smiled at him. Why does he do this to me? He took my hand and we walked back. As we got closer I would see Yugyeom holding Harley. I knew she was crying. Everyone was outside the apartment complex. 

"What are you guys doing in the cold?" I asked as we approached them. 

"Where have you been?" Harley hugged me. 

"I went to visit my mom." I rubbed her back. 

"How did you know..." Jinyoung looked at Jaebum. 

"I just know." He smiled and nodded. 

"Let's get inside, it's late." I motioned for everyone to walk. 

We got in and ordered some food. 

"You guys can crash here if you want." I looked at them. "Youngjae, I have a spare bedroom that the cats aren't allowed in, you can sleep there." 

"Thanks." He spoke in Korean, bowing. 

We all sat around the living room. I looked at Harley and Yugyeom. I wanted that with Jaebum, but not now. It's sad I know. I felt Jaebum's arm wrap around me. He pulled me closer to him. His warmth was welcoming. I smiled and moved closer. 

I woke up in my bed with Jaebum's arm wrapped around me. I was confused at first until I remembered what happened. 

"Zo, come on." Jaebum picked me up bridal style. 

He placed me in bed and was about to leave but I grabbed his hand. 

"Please, stay." I mumbled. 

He didn't respond. He just climbed in next to me cuddling me. 

I turned to face him not leaving his arms. He's beautiful even sleeping. I reached my hand and touched his face. I noticed he dyed it black. His eyes opened, he smiled and placed his hand on mine. I would give anything to have this everyday. 

"What time is it?" His voice was sexy. 

How even? 

"It's still dark out." I mumbled. 

His eyes closed and pulled me close tightening his grip around me. He breathing lightened up and I knew he was sleeping again. I closed my eyes and sighed. I let sleep take over me. 

I woke up to a kiss on my cheek. I blinked to see Jaebum staring at me. No, he was studying me. 

"Morning." He smiled. 

"Why look at me like that?" I turned to him. 

"I want to remember you." He sighed. "Every single feature." 

I smiled and buried my face into his chest. It's too early to feel like this. 

"Promise me, that no matter what...we'll end up together." Jaebum sighed. "If I don't come for you, come for me." 

"I promise." I looked at him. "Pinkie promise." 

We locked pinkie's and sealed it. I smiled. We stay in bed for a few minutes longer.
