"Hokuto-kun! Hokuto-kun!" A voice screaming Hokuto's name made the second year jump in his seat. He looked over to the voice to see Wataru running towards him.
His first thought: what could this guy possibly want now? His club president was always the unpredictable type, no one ever knew what was going on in that head of his.
"Yes, Hibiki-buchou?" Hokuto said calmly, not feeling fazed at all by the seemingly desperate Wataru.
"You have to come quick! It's [Y/N]-san!" Hokuto's attention was immediately grabbed at the sound of your name. Wataru wasn't someone who was easily flustered, so for him to run all the way here and say it was something about you, it had to be serious.
"[Y/N]? What's wrong with [Y/N]?" Hokuto asked while standing up.
"One of my birds flew up too high in a tree and are now in terrible fear of coming down from it so [Y/N] went up to get it but now she faces the same predicament"
"Did you at least notify Sagami-sensei or Kunugi-sensei before running all the way over here?!" Hokuto exclaimed and Wataru simply shook his head. Hokuto groaned.
"Please inform them. Where is [Y/N]?" Hokuto asked and once Wataru informed him, he took off. He couldn't believe that such a thing was happening but everyone knew that there was never a normal day in the life of a Yumenosaki Gakuen student.

'I can't believe I got stuck up here...how embarrassing' you thought as you clung desperately on to the dangerously thin branch that was somehow still holding you up. Wataru's bird was tucked gently in one arm while the other clung to the tree.
The bird was shaking in your arm and you frowned.
"It's okay...Hibiki-senpai is going to get help...if only he would hurry up" you muttered to yourself and just then you heard your name being called from down below.
"[Y/N]?!" Your eyes widened as you saw the last person you would ever want to see while stuck in your current predicament.
"Hokuto-kun?!" You exclaimed surprised and your shock only lasted for a few moments when your foot slipped and fell with a yelp before grabbing onto another branch, this time dangling from it.
"[Y/N]!" Hokuto was now incredibly panicked. You couldn't hold on that long and especially not with how hard your hand was digging into the bark, you probably had tons of splinters by now.
"Jump, [Y/N]!" Hokuto said while holding his hands out to you. You just looked at him as if he were crazy.
"I don't think I can do that!" You yelled as you looked at how far the ground was. What if Hokuto didn't catch you? Or even worse, what if you crushed him with your weight? Only the worst of the worst scenarios were popping into your head thus increasing your fear.
"[Y/N], you have to trust me. I will catch you alright? I promise!" Hokuto said. Seeing the serious look in his eyes, you nodded to yourself before slowly letting go and yelled while clutching Wataru's bird safely into your arms in preparation for the impact.
But it never came. In fact, you felt like you were floating and you slowly cracked open one of your eyes to see Hokuto smiling softly down at you.
"I told you" he said and you had never been more happy to be so close to the ground.
"T-Thank you" you said with a small blush.
The sound of clapping brought the two of you out of your moment and Wataru's bird flew out of your arms and over to Wataru where it perched itself on his shoulder.
"That was most indeed an amazing showtime~!" You and Hokuto looked at Wataru as if he had grown three heads. Showtime? What did he mean by showtime?
"Hibiki-san...what are you talking about?" You asked as Hokuto had finally released you back on to your feet.
"The fear and anticipation that troubles the heroine as he rushes to save his beloved from imminent danger. The building of trust under severe circumstances! Even I, the amazing Wataru Hibiki, am moved by such a bond" Wataru wiped a tear that had fallen.
"So you mean to tell us that this whole thing was staged?" Hokuto asked slowly, his eyebrow twitching in annoyance.
"Staged?! Never! Besides, it was not my idea but rather my little helper" Wataru said while stroking his bird on the head fondly.
Both you and Hokuto were just in disbelief at the whole situation. However, Hokuto seemed to be a little more than in disbelief.
"Hibiki-buchou...can we talk over there?"
