As I lay here
I think.
I hurt myself
By making my brain remember,
All the things we lived
Together.
And all the memories
We shared.

I sit
And wonder.
If you've already forgot.
The nights that we lay together.
Counting the stars
From the rooftop.
And if you remember me.
The girl you loved.

I see.
pictures from that time.
when we were madly in love.
i see what has become
of that love.
And i see that it will,
never be the same

but I pray
To see tomorrow.
To see you.
To have you in my arms.
To have you.

I breathe
But I don't know why.
There is no reason to.
Without you,
I'm nothing.

I hold on,
To life.
But my hands are weak.
And I let go.

I lay here,
Surrounded by darkness.
Separated from the living.
My eyes are
Never to open again.
Never to see daylight again.
Never to see you again.
Never to see the being that caused,
My death.
