I slowly crack my eyes open and roll over to look at my clock.
5:30 AM
Great.. I think to myself as I roll on my back and hit the snooze button.
"Riley you better be up, It's 5:30!" I hear my mom scream from downstairs.
My mom is so fucking dramatic, I don't have to be at school for another whole 4 1/2 hours.
I understand she don't want me to be late, but damn.
"Riley Campbell get your ass up, I know your not still laying down" I hear my mom yell as she walks up the stairs.
Before I have time to get up she slams open my bedroom door.
Great I've really done it now.
"What the hell are you doing still in bed you do realize school is gonna start soon enough."
"Yes I know I would hate to fall behind even though the whole world doesn't wake up for another 2 hours." I said while trying to hide the sarcasm in my voice.
"Remember who your talking to young lady, I brought you in this world I can take you out." She said clearly aggravated with my response.
"Riley I'm not--
*beep beep beep*
Fuck..great timing..perfect
"You need to learn to get up in a timely matter and stop dragging your feet. Your so damn irresponsible."
She hit the button to cut off my alarm and left the room.
"And these dishes better be cleaned before you go to school." She screamed from downstairs.
Great I can tell this is gonna be a long day.
With that I flipped back the covers and got up.
