Chapter 7

"I hope this works and that door is still there..." I thought to myself while I ran as fast as I could. I kept running only thinking about getting back to the door, when I bumped into someone and fell.

"Ah, ow. That really hurt next ti--" I cut myself off when I looked up to see who I bumped into. It was my teacher Edward. But he was younger, way younger and he was with this armor guy. "Well next time you should learn to watch where you're going!" He snapped back at me. "Brother!" The armor yelled at him. "I'm sorry for my brother, he's just in a bad mood." He said while helping me up.

I was so curious to find out who was in the armor. "It's alright he can't help it..." I looked at my teacher and smirked. "He's going to grow up being rude." I snickered and he got pissed. "And how exactly would you know, I would like to know this?!" Ed spoke through his teeth, trying not to be rude again. "Well because you will see me later on and I am your student." I told him and him and his brother just laughed. "I'm serious! Me and my sister learn alchemy from you and Alphonse, and we got automail from Winry because we both lost one of our limbs!!!" I yelled over their laughter and the both finally shut up. "Alright so if you got "automail" from Winry and I "taught" you alchemy, and you lost a "limb" then prove it to me." He said. "Fine!" I took off my sweater, and my tank top revealed my arm. "Theres the automail." He looked at it an made sure it was by Winry. "It does look like winrys work, she's always making adjustment and stuff. But what about the alchemy, show me that and I'll believe you." He crossed his arms.

I clapped my hands and passed one over my automail, making it into a blade. "You taught me this, you use it to fight. You always made your arm a blade as a weapon." I put my sweater back on. "Now, do you believe me?" I asked him. "Hmm.... Let me talk to Alphonse..." Ed turned around and found Al with a cat. "Alphonse?! You aren't bringing that cat home, right?!" He yelled at him. "Aw but brother why not?" He said in a pouting voice. "Because those things are demons!" Ed replied with flames in his eyes. "Brother!" Al cuddled the cat and whispered to it, "Don't listen to brother he's just mad that he can't grow..." I chuckled. I've always wondered how they acted when they were my age and now I get to see it but I sorta messed it up. Since that girl who claims she's my sister brought me to the past, I can't help anyone or anything, because it will altar my world and creat and parallel universe. "Hey, I'll see you later Teacher!" I said while starting to run. "Don't call me that, call me Ed and my brother Al!!" He yelled back. "Alright bye Ed and Al!" I yelled back at him.

I ran as fast as I could and finally made it back to the house. "Fi...nally....made....it..." I stopped and tried to catch my breath. I seriously felt like I haven't trained in years, that's how exhausted I was. I sighed regaining my breath and walked into the house. "Now to find that door..." I mumbled to myself. I walked to the room where me and Annabeth studied alchemy. I opened the door and looked around the room, seeing are old things. I smiled, "This is where it all began....." I heard voices coming inside the house. "She's in here I saw her, I know she's here!" The voice said. I ran to the door I came into this world and opened it. "Yes, thank you lord death. The other place is still there." I walked into the darkness again, and closed the door as they opened the door to the room.

As soon as I walked back into the darkness, I passed out and fell. ".....you've seen enough of out past, now it's time to bring you to the present...." A faint voice said.

I woke up with a head ache. "Huh? What happened? All I remember is being in the darkness and--" "Oh you're finally awake Anais." Annabeth said while walking in the room. "How long was I asleep for?" I asked curiously. "What do you mean how long? You always wake up at this time." She looked puzzled. "What time is it then?" "It's 9:30AM, the time you always wake up at..." She raised her eyebrows when she said that.

I got up from the bed and went down stairs. Everybody was up and fine. "Annabeth!" I called for her. "Yeah!" She yelled back. "I want to go see the place!" I told her. She came down stairs with her black sweater on and nodded. "Let's go." I grabbed my red sweater and threw it on and headed out the door with Annabeth.

"So why do you want to go back to that place again?" Annabeth asked while kicking a rock. "Well, this morning I woke up really early and the girl who looks like our little sister appeared and took my back into the past." I kept looking at the house as we got closer to it. "So what happened when she brought you to the past?" I stopped walking at the exact spot I saw our past selves. Annabeth stopped as well and looked at me. "What happened when she brought you to the past Anais." Annabeth looked at me straight in the eye. "I appeared in that house." I point to our old house we used to live in. "Then I ran out and while I was running I stopped here. I stopped here because I heard my laughter from when I was little. When I looked I saw..." I could tell my voice was going shaky. Annabeth's look softened up. "You saw us with Daisy, Mom, and Dad.....Didn't you?" I nodded and looked at the spot I saw the past us. Annabeth chuckled slightly while looking at the ground. "I remember that day, we were all playing near the river and you told mom you saw someone. Then you went to check and came back. You said no one was there." Wait did she say I went to check if someone was there.... So whatever I do in the past really can effect the memories and possibly the future?
