Living in the past

Chapter 6

(a little side note, let me know if this chapter is too short)

Anais POV

"Why can't I move...? Why can't I see anything?" I thought to myself. "God this sucks, just seeing darkness not being able to talk.....well at least I can hear my thoughts to myself..." After a while I just kept falling asleep. But then, when i woke up, some how I ended up in a dark room and i couldn't see. Don't know how an I won't ask how, I just feel happy I can move again." I stood up and stretched. I took a step forward and heard squishing. I kneeled down and touched what I was walking on. "What is this?" i said while i rubbed my fingers together. "It feels like blood...." I put my hand on the floor an felt a head, of an animal. "Am I...walking on dead animals..." I stood back up not wanting to really know what it was. "thankfully it doesn't smell..." I kept walking straight not even knowing where I was going. Every step I took I heard the squishing of something dead. I shivered and tried to ignore the sound. ".......disgusting........" I mumbled under my breath. It's not like anyone or anything would hear me. I sighed, " I miss Annabeth already....She would have found a way out of here with an ease." I sighed and just kept walking. "This is going to take me an eternity to get out of..."

~After walking for a very long time~

It feels like I have been walking for miles and miles. I saw this bright thing ahead of me within the distance. "what is that?..." I said while trying to get a better look at it. I started to run to it. "It might be a way out of here!" I thought to myself. I got closer to the bright thing and it turned out to b a white door. I looked at it for a moment before opening it. All there was, was darkness, nothing more and nothing less. "oh well, how bad could it be, I'm already in darkness.." I walked into the door and it wasn't dark anymore.

"I'm home?" I said as I looked around. I found myself in the room me and Annabeth studied alchemy in. "Why am I back in this place? I thought I go rid of it because of what happened..." I thought to myself. "I did get rid of this place..." I said still looking around. I found the back door that we used to have and I opened it, walking outside. I walked along the path to leave the house, when I saw mom and dad. I stop walking and looked at them in shock. "Wh-Why are they alive......?" I saw my parents happy and they were laughing. They were just sitting along the river side. I heard children's laughter. I saw me, Annabeth and Daisy. "We.....we are all smiling......like a happy family.....how it used to be....." I fell to my knees and cried. A man passing by saw me and came up to me. "Uh, excuse me miss are you alright?" He asked. I looked up at him and smiled. "I'm perfectly fine, thank you for your concern."

"Oh well alright miss, good day." The man walked off. I stood up and wiped my face. "How it could've been..." I muttered and I looked back at our past family, when I noticed the last me saw me. "Crap!" I ducked down and crawled away.

Little Anais POV

I saw this lady staring at me, sissys, mommy an daddy. But when I looked at her she hid. I don't know why though. I tugged on my mommys arm. "Mommy, there was this this lady staring at us." I pointed to where I saw her. "Can I go look and see if she is still there?" I asked. Mommy sighed, "Go ahead, but please be careful alright sweetie." She said while kissing my forehead. "Thank you mommy an I will!" I said while running to the spot I saw her.

I climbed up the small wall of rocks that the path is on and dropped down when I got to the other side. I looked around and walked down the path a bit. "Miss? Miss?" I called but I got no answer back. "If I go any further mommy won't be able to see me... Oh well I tried. " I stopped walking where the cross paths show up. So I ran back and climbed over the little wall.

"Well, did you find the lady you saw Anais?" mommy asked me. "No, she must have left already but I really did see her looking at us." I told her but I knew she wouldn't believe me any ways. "oh well maybe she come back and you can find her again." She said so kindly. "well alright." I smiles and went back to playing with Annabeth and Daisy.

Anais POV.

(back to the part where she's crawling away)

I kept crawling away till I got to the cross paths and sat again the little rock wall. I sighed, still tearing up "I must have left a trail of tears....no matter, I just need to find a way back home, to teachers house." I heard a voice, it sounded like mine when I was younger. "Miss? Miss?" It called out. "Is she calling me?" I whispered. "No....but she did see me..." I muttered. I heard footsteps running away and a peeked my head over the wall. I saw little me running back to my mother. "So she was calling me..." I sighed. I got up and continued walking. "I need to get back home, soon. I can't take it if I stay here any longer..." I started running but I didn't know where I was running. I just kept running, wanting to forget what I saw.

"Aw, some scared already?" I heard someone say behind me and I stopped running. "You!" I turned around and my guess was correct. It was the girl who claims shes my little sister. "So I'm guessing who already know who I am by heart?" She said in my sisters voice. I snickered, "This isn't the first time I've seen you or heard you.."

"Oh I know that already."

"So what do you want with me?"

"You're looking for a way out aren't you?"

I glared at her coldly while keeping my distance from her. "Yeah, but what does that have to do with you..."

"I swear Anais you are stupid, I was the on who put you in this alternate world."

Did she just say what I think she did?

She called me stupid!!

"Who are you calling stupid, little shorty?!" I yelled at her

"Shorty!?! Your the stupid one here so shut up!!"

"WHY AM I EVEN ARGUING WITH YOU, YOU'RE THE ENEMY HERE!"

I ran away from her as far as I could. Where can I go? Is there another door to take me back home? If there is I need to find it soon... I had all these thought in my mind while I ran.

I ran to teachers house in hope to find him. I opened the front door and knocked on the wall. I know it's a weird thing to do, but I've always do e that since I was little. I never knocked on the door so teacher would yell at me when I barged in. That is why I knock on the wall.

"Teacher?" I called but received no answer.

"Annabeth?" I sighed and walked in more. I looked around and noticed it was empty. There was no furniture what so ever, no food or anything. I ran upstairs and the stairs didn't creek at all. "Hm? That's weird..." I muttered. I shrugged it off and looked in Winrys work place. Absolutely nothing. I looked in every room and nothing was in it. Nina's, Theos, Teachers and Winrys, even the room me and Annabeth are sleeping in.

I walked back down stairs and sat on the floor, where the sofa would have been. "What do I do now?" I said to myself. I say there and thought for a long time, thinking of my next move and how I would get back home.

I stood up and ran out of the house, running back. What if I was to exit through the door I came in through. Could that possibly work? I kept running and I ran back to my old house I use to live in.

"I hope this works and that door is still there..." I thought to myself while I ran as fast as I could.

AN: Eh well that was chapter six. It might be confusing in this chapter because of all the places Anais ends up in but yeah. something is something better than nothing.... Oh yeah and annabeth I'm making Anais's sister so yeah Until next chapter
