Running through the halls, Sala dodged and ducked away from the raining debris falling from the ceiling, and the demons chasing after her. How was I supposed to know that my cage would be rigged with alarms?! Quickly tightening her fist, she killed the two denizens behind her.
"SALA!" A voice yelled from the abyss in front of her. It sounded a lot like someone she knew.
"LEINNA!" She ran towards the voice, almost running headfirst into her elder sister. They quickly exchanged a hug, not having seen each other in a hundred years, before running through the halls once again.
By the time they saw sunlight, half of the castle was in shambles. Oh, their dad was gonna kill them. If he ever got out of his cage. Leinna ran with Sala to a nearby motel, renting a room for the both of them for the night.
The two girls settled in and caught up with each other. The fact that they both managed to escape was lucky for them, seeing how the entirety of Heaven and Hell would be looking for them soon enough.
Leaning back on the hard queen mattress, Sala pondered before asking her sister, "What are we gonna do now?"
To tell you the truth, Leinna didn't know either, but then an idea sprung up within the depths of her mind. "What if we became Hunters?"
"WHAT?! You want to become the one thing that poses a threat to us besides angels?!"
"What if we went under aliases? Like I would be Alex, and you could be Anya!"
"That's not gonna stop them from finding out who we are."(gzn adfhhhhhhhhhharehheh Sorry! Kookie, my Guiena Pig, wanted to write.)
"Yeah. You're right. But it's still worth a shot, yeah?" Leinna tried convincing her younger sister with all she had.
Sighing, Sala nodded while Leinna cheered. "In that news, I found our first case," Leinna tossed a newspaper to Sala. The headline read: "Devastating Plane Crash, Only Seven Survivors."
"What's so wrong with this?" Sala asked, getting pretty annoyed with her sister, "It's only a plane crash."
"Yes, but check this out," Leinna pointed to a paragraph on the faded paper, "There was nothing wrong with the plane, and the survivors said that the plane just suddenly crashed. Something doesn't seem right here."
"Then let's check it out. Is the car still alright?" Sala seemed worried.
"Right where we left it," Leinna smiled.
"Bobby's," the girls said at the same time, teleporting to the house of their long-time friend.
*LEINNA'S POV*
Sala and I walked up to the rusting door. I was nervous. I mean, it's only been a couple of months up here, but in Hell, it was a couple of hundred years. We haven't seen Bobby in ages. DAMN. HE'LL BE PISSED! WE DIDN'T CHECK IN WITH HIM...
Quickly knocking on the door, I stepped back to stand next to my sister, not wanting the wrath of Ol' Bobby Singer to send me back home. The door creaked open and there he stood.
"Hi Uncle Bobby," I managed to croak out. Sala weakly smiled.
"What in Hell are you two idjts doin'? You could've at least called to tell me you girls were alright!" Bobby pulled us into his house, shutting the door behind him.
"We're sorry Uncle Bobby. We should've called while we were in Austria..." Sala leaned her head down. You see, he doesn't know that Sala and I are half-angels, half-demons. He just thinks we're powerful Hunters. I mean, we used to be Hunters, then we got thrown in Hell, and now we're Hunters again... It doesn't really make the best sense, but it works.
"You're damn right you should've called! It's been eight months! I thought you two were dead!" Bobby poured us a glass of whiskey.
Sipping it, I felt the familiar burning go down my throat. "We meant to, it's just that-"
"We got distracted," Sala finished my sentence.
Hugging us, Bobby spoke again but in a calmer voice, "I'm just glad you idjits are safe. But there's one reason you're here, isn't it?"
"We need our car," Sala and I spoke at the same time.
"You two sure you aren't the twins from The Shining?" Bobby started towards the door.
"We're sure Uncle Bobby," I laughed, following him with Sala close behind.
