여섯 : six

Taehyung opened his somewhat heavy eyelids. He had fallen asleep on the floor of his art room. Taehyung tried to sit up but stopped when a sharp pain in his head startled him. He didn't remember much, but it all came back to him when he saw the naked painting of the girl he always painted. His eyes widened.

What had he done? Was he insane?

Annoyed and ashamed of himself, he stood up and broke the painting. He began kicking it and stepping on it in hopes no one would ever see it. This was art, there shouldn't have been any malice in it. But Taehyung had taken this way too seriously.

That's when there was a knock on his door. Startled, Taehyung slowly tried to pull himself together before going to answer it. He opened the door.

Jungkook was standing there, a worried expression on his face ❝Hyung are you okay?❞

Taehyung took a moment to breathe ❝Yeah, I just–❞

❝Have you been drinking?❞ Jungkook asked

Taehyung paused, letting silence linger around for a few moments. ❝Jungkook it's just... I don't know❞. Jungkook pursed his lips before speaking ❝Hyung you need to stop isolating yourself from us❞

Taehyung avoided eye contact as he swallowed ❝Kookie I'm really sorry❞. Taehyung tried to hold himself together.

Jungkook said nothing, he just pulled Taehyung into a hug. ❝I know it must be hard for you❞ Jungkook whispered. Taehyung closed his eyes and let himself be embraced by Jungkook.

❝Just remember that me and the hyungs got your back no matter what❞ Jungkook pulled away and Taehyung couldn't help it, a few tears had slipped out of his eyes. He let himself cry.

❝Please don't cry❞ Jungkook pleaded softly.

Taehyung had been ignoring the very people that cared for him. They wanted to spend the most of their time with him, yet here he was... obsessed with a girl that never existed.

And they still cared for him the way they did before, their love for him never changed.

He smiled ❝Thank you Jungkook❞

Jungkook smiled ❝Yoongi–hyung also said he's sorry about the other time❞

Taehyung just managed a smile ❝It's alright❞

And for a moment, Taehyung felt alright
