She's Hiding

My mind is totally blank.

I have no idea what to blog about! This never happens! I can't go to bed, either. It's 1 AM and that's when all the good stuff happens on my accounts. I need to change my About page though... It says I'm Hazel, 15 and in a relationship.

I snort.

That was me when I lived with my mom and dad.

But things have changed since then. I sigh and start to edit my About page.

'Hey all! I'm Hazel, and this is hazelrants.com. I'm 16, single, and addicted to music and social media. I blog, I'm on tumblr, instagram, weheartit, Pinterest, even 8tracks! All usernames are hazel's_crazy_mind :)'

That's as good as it will get. I push my chair back, wincing at the pain in my wrist. I'm glad I'm not with my parents, but it's weird being here. But I guess everyone has changes in life.

"Hazel, please come eat breakfast, we need to talk!" Mrs. Williams calls up to me.

"What the fuck do we have to talk about?" I mumble, snuggling deeper into my covers. I roll over, forgetting that my entire right side is bruised. I brush tears from my eyes and figure if I'm already crying, I might as well get up. I walk downstairs silently, before remembering I don't need to- I don't live with them anymore. I sit at the breakfast table.

"Good morning Hazel. I made waffles, would you like any?"

I roll my eyes again. I'm in for a long day.
