Hi, I am Lucy Heartfilia.
I'm a rich girl, from a rich family, and I'm a no good, manipulative little bitch.
Well, that's what they say.
I hate it.
I hate my family, I hate my home, and I hate my name, which is why I made a deal with my father that I could heave for Fairy Tail academy boarding school for 2 years, until I graduate with honors.
The only Heartfilia I loved was my mother, but she's... gone. But that's a sad story for another time.
Anyway, at this point in time, I'm on the train, watching scenery pass, as I get driven to my new home, knowing I'll only ever see this view once more in my life, if that.
I don't know anyone at Fairy Tail, no one at all.
I'm scared about what they might think of me. What if I make a mistake and totally embarrass myself? My life would be over!
I'm excited though, because I have always wanted to know more people, and I think this is the place to do that.
As I hop off the train, the warm sun warms up my skin, from the cold air, as I make my way downtown.
{hehe, lol}
I'm walking fast, not wanting people to recognize me, though I highly doubt they would.
In a shorter than expected time, I reach my destination.
Fairy Tail Academy!
As I enter the school grounds, my eyes immediately find the place I'm supposed to sign in.
I hesitantly walk over, and enter through the big doors. I am met by a beautiful, white haired, blue eyed girl, with a bunch of her hair tied up above her head.
"Hello! Are you Lucy?" She asks, cheerfully.
"Y-yes, I am!" I stutter, trying to wipe away the non-existent dust on my skirt, walking up to her.
"Alright, here is your key, and room number. I'll show you to your room if you would like?" She asked, printing something off, after typing rapidly on her computer.
"Sure, but only if you want to! I wouldn't want to be a bother.." I reply faster than expected, hoping I don't seem rude.
"Of course I want to! I want to get to know you more, mysterious, no-last-name girl," she winked at me, as I laughed, with a guilty look on my face.
As we were walking, the girl told me of her name, Mira, and talked a lot about what Fairy Tail is like, and what her friend group is like, while I asked questions about her, hoping to avoid questions about myself.
"Oh! We are here already!" She exclaimed, with a slightly shocked look on her smiling face.
"I guess so! Who do you think I'm rooming with?" I asked, wondering who it is, and if they would like me.
"Well, why don't you see for yourself? This room has 3 people including you staying in it, but I made sure to get you the biggest room, with an ensuite," Mira informed me, unlocking the door, and opening it up, to reveal a beautiful, cosy looking lounge area.
"Wow it's beautiful!" I stepped in, setting my bags near the door and looking around.
"Hey, Mira, do you t-" I looked at where the smiling girl was standing, and she was gone. "Wait, where did she go..?" I wondered to myself.
"Can I help you?" I heard a voice from behind me, snapping me out of my wonderings.
"Oh! Um, hi! I'm Lucy, and I'm supposed to be rooming here?" I said turning around, uncrumpling the paper, and holding it out infront of me.
As I look up to see who was there, it was a boy with onyx eyes, and pink spiky hair.
"E-eh?! I'm rooming with a guy?!" I freaked out, pointing at him. While he just took a glance at the paper, and tossed it to the side.
"You didn't need to show me that, I'll just take your word for it," he said in a tired tone, yawning soon after. "I'm Natsu. I guess you're rooming with me and Gray."
"Okay, uh, wheres my room?" I asked, grabbing my suitcases, and following the pink haired boy, who just walked up the hall, to the last room, and swung the door open.
"Make yourself at home." He said, gesturing for me to enter.
As I started walking through the door, I felt his warm hand flick my hair off my shoulder, and as I looked at him, he just winked and walked off to the room next to mine.
"Baka Burrito.." I mumbled under my breath, putting my suitcases on my bed, and unpacking them.
A few hours later..
I had finished unpacking, and laid down on my bed for a matter of 4 seconds, before my stomach told me it was dinner time.
"Hmm.. it is pretty late," I mumbled, looking at my clock, which read 7:49 PM.
As I exited my room, and walked down to the kitchen, I saw some raven haired guy cooking.
"Erm.. Hi," I awkwardly waved, walking to the bench. "Are you Gray?"
"Yeah, who're you?" He asked in a confused tone, looking at me.
"I'm Lucy. The new roommate," I nodded to his cooking, "what are you cooking?"
"Cheese toasties.. Want one?" He asked, placing his on the bench.
"Sure," I replied, smiling awkwardly, not knowing how to act in such an awkward situation.
As me and Gray sat down and ate, we talked, and things began to seem.. Less weird.
He kind of acted like my big brother would, if I had one.
"You know, you remind me of what a big brother would be like," I spoke my mind, drinking my water.
"And you remind me of a little sister," he replied, finishing the last bite of his toastie.
After a few more minutes, we both headed to our rooms, as I lay down in my bed, and went to sleep for the night.
