As I entered the front door, I could hear laughing and singing, I slowly walked toward the living room just to find my grandmother sitting down staring straight to the tv as tears ran down her cheeks. I dropped my bags and went and sat right next to her and hugged her real tight.
" it's been nine years Alice .."
" I know grandma nine whole years"the rest of the evening we sat there looking at the screen enjoying the memories that we will never get back.
As we finishing watching our memories, Grandma suggested that we make some dinner to take our minds off everything. " Alice could you go to the corner store to get some ice cream for desert?" - she said as she put her apron on and started on dinner. " sure be right back" I grabbed my wallet and headed out the door.
As I came upon the street light, my thoughts wonder around thinking how would life be right now if he was here. I started walking not knowing if the light was green or red I just walked.
