"And have I mentioned my ex is such a bitch?" That was the 10th time Ahn Hyungseob had said the same damned statement throughout the duration of the whole hour. And Jinyoung, who was so absorbed in typing the first sets of paragraph for their essay (unfortunately, he and the chaotic youngster got paired up for Ms. Kwon's project), momentarily stopped just to clench his fist."Hyungseob," For the first time ever since they started working on the project in the Bae residence, Jinyoung peeled off his attention from the laptop before he turned his head with an ice that glared directly to Hyungseob who wavered. "Will you ever shut up about your ex?"
"I'm afraid that is something I cannot do," Hyungseob chokes, dramatically clutching to his heart with an overdramatic expression that wrinkled his face. "Besides, have you ever been in this kind of situation i'm in?"
"You mean the situation of literally flirting with everyone and anyone at school that you'd always end up having a broken relationship as this one?" Jinyoung rolled his eyes, returning all his interrupted attention to his laptop. He faked a cough. "I can't relate."
"Damn, Jinyoung. Slow your roll, I can only take enough savagery. And Dana was honestly a bitch. I thought she was gonna be my first serious relationship but then, " Hyungseob trails off, standing up before he ambled towards the door that leads to Jinyoung's room. "She left me for some good-for-nothing asshole."
At Hyungseob's very unfortunate reason, Jinyoung can only share his sentiments through sympathy. But of course not in an audacious way that directly convenes his sorrow for what appears to be Hyungseob's first heartbreak. Having no other words to remark, Jinyoung sighed before clicking a window that displayed a search engine.
"By the way, where's the toilet?" Hyungseob had the door to Jinyoung's room opened. The montonous interior of the house's hallway displayed in a manner so clean and free.
"Just around the left corner." Jinyoung gestures a hand. "Just be careful, though, you might accidentally barge in my sister's room."
Hyungseob took note of Jinyoung's reminder before stepping out of the room. The dim hallway was illuminated with a sole faint light bulb that seemed to be running out of brightness the more he walks on his way. The contrast and shadows that sourced from the luminescence played along the walls and the portraits that hung on its surface.
Hyungseob thought the decors were dull but at the same time, it was mysterious and silent. A great opposite to his household full of vibrant colors and a family with an energetic demeanor. When he finally reached a certain corner, Hyungseob found the toilet before another door just across the said room opened, revealing a Jiyeon who shot him a dry look.
