I'm a 17 year old girl...And someones out to get me...Chapter 6

I laid there looking up into his beautiful green eyes I was mesmerized I didn't know who he was or why he was on top of me let alone why he tackled me but at the minute I didn't care I just wanted to keep looking at him I could see the worry in his eyes but he got off me and stood up he helped me up too.

"Are you okay?" he asked me

I shook my head 'damn my head hurt I hit the floor hard'

I looked up at him to see the worry still in his eyes

"Ya I'm fine but um if you don't mind me asking why did you tackle me?

He smiled oh my god that smile made him so much more sexier wait what am I doing I can't fall for a guy I just met and have no idea who he is... even if he is my knight in shining armour...it'll be like Max all over again...Max...thinking his name brought me back to reality and how my life really is right now

I looked back up at the boy to only see him smile again.

"Oh well I saw that boy chasing after you and he looked pretty pissed and you looked pretty scared I caught up to him and knocked him out but before I knew it he was chasing you again I ran after him and just before he was able to grab you I tackled you down out of his reach and he smacked into the tree and is now unconscious...sorry if I hurt you..."

That's when I looked over at Tyler laying there by the tree he was bleeding a little by the mouth I'm guessing that's where this guy must have hit him

"Oh no not at all I'm fine but thank you so much I don't know what I would have happened without you"

Just then the police car pulled up... took them long enough I thought they ran out

Both officers were by my side

"Put your hand up where I can see them young man" one of the officers said while the other looked at me.

"Are you okay Leighton?" he asked "We saw that boy tackle you while you were running toward us"

"I'm fine" I said "in fact this is the boy that helped me so please don't do anything to him. See the one over there lying by the tree he was chasing me"

I didn't tell them why I didn't want to but of course they asked.

"Why?" the officer that was cuffing the boy asked he stopped cuffing him and walked over to Tyler.

"Umm we kind of got into a fight and I ran away because I was scared he would do something to me but he was chasing me to say sorry..."

I looked up at the boy to see him stare at me in disbelief how much did this guy really see I thought?

"What about the bruise on your cheek?" the officer asked

"Oh I fell a while back when I was running...sorry if I caused any problems..."

"No not at all Leighton we are glad to see you are okay we're going to take this boy to the hospital would you like to come? Maybe visit..." he trailed off

I shook my head and he only nodded he knew why I didn't want to go back and they both started heading back.

I took a deep breath I can't believe I let him go like that...

He'll be back I know he will...

I just have to be ready next time...

"Hey you okay?"

It was that boy he was still here?

"Yeah I am sorry" I replied

"Oh okay you looked pretty upset"

I smiled

"I'm fine thank you again you really helped me. I'm Leighton by the way"

"I'm Daniel" he said "Umm if you don't mind me asking why did you lie?

"Lie?" I asked

"Yaa...to the police officer about you falling down..."

My eyes went wide

"How much did you see?" I asked

"Enough to know that he wasn't chasing you to say sorry"

I sighed

"Yeah he's an ex boyfriend..."

"Oh" was all he said

Just then my phone vibrated

Max.

"ayee where are yuu ? I came back after talkin to Natasha and yu were gone"

I looked down at the message. Did he really just text me asking me where I am? He probably doesn't know I heard what he said

My eyes started to water first my parents then my cousins and then Max and now Tyler how much worse can this day get?
