"Okay guys! Garroth just texted me and said that him and Laurence are coming up the elevator right now! Act cool!" Vylad calls out and everyone scrambles around.

Then three short knocks can be heard at the door and the girls giggle lightly which earns them a long "SHHH!"

Vylad opens the door to Laurence and Garroth. "Hey guys! Thanks for coming." Vylad greets them with a smile and they respond with the same kind gesture, closing the beige door behind them.

"So uhm— We kind of aren't throwing a party." Vylad mutters while rubbing his neck. Travis and Dante walk behind Garroth and Laurence and block the door so they aren't able to leave.

Garroth furrows his eyebrows, "then what'd you invite us here for?" he asks and Laurence nods.

"Well, an obstacle course. I was bored so I decided to invite everybody over so we could all have fun and play an obstacle course around the building." Vylad explains and they smile.

"Well why didn't you say that in the beginning?" Laurence laughs and slides his shoes off, Garroth repeating the gesture.

Vylad grins, "well we didn't think you would want to come then."

Kathie smiles brightly and shakes Laurence's hand and wraps her arm around Garroth's shoulder. "Nice to meet you Laurence! And long time no see baby bro."

"Baby bro?" Laurence questions with a chuckle. Kathie giggles lightly as her straight coffee brown hair sways.

"Thats what I call him. Im older and he is like a brother to me so why not?" Laurence nods and looks over at Travis and Dante.

Zane hugs Travis and digs his head into Travis' chest. "I call being partners with Travis." He says.

"I call dibs on Vylad!" Dante shouts out, and everyone begins to call out their partners which leaves only Garroth and Laurence.

"Eh, I guess I can deal with you, nerd." Garroth jokes and Laurence laughs while wrapping an arm around Garroth's shoulder, not realizing how much that made Garroth's heart flutter.

"So lets get started?"

"Alright! Last obstacle course game! The rope run! You and your partner have to tie a rope to both of your ankles and run down the hall to the finish line! The left over teams are Kathie and Cadenza VS Garroth and Laurence!" Vylad cheers and Dante smiles down at him.

Dante loved it when Vylad acted so strictly. It was adorable to him.

Vylad giggles after Dante places a kiss on his cheek and then claps loudly. "Ready, Set, Go!"

And off they went.

Garroth and Laurence ran ahead of Cadenza and Kathie which made them both fall, and thats when Dante and Travis ran up towards Garroth and Laurence and pushed them both down, Garroth falling on top of Laurence, basically straddling him except the giant gap between them was closed.

Laurence's eyes widen as he felt Garroth's soft lips against his own, his stomach fluttered with millions of butterflies inside and his eyes sparkled as fireworks shot throughout him.

Garroth however, did not see it coming. He enjoyed the kiss of course, but he certainly did not expect this as his first kiss with Laurence. Aphmau, Cadenza, and Vylad took photos while giggling which caused Garroth to feel embarrassed.

And whenever Garroth felt embarrassed he became a living wreck.

Garroth jumped off of Laurence and broke the rope off their ankles and slapped the phones out of Vylad, Aphmau, and Cadenza's hands, screaming at them while tears streamed down his face.

He was embarrassed.
And in his mind, Laurence hated it. In his mind, Laurence was disgusted.

He continued to scream and cry and eventually everyone fell silent, watching him carefully as guilt surged through their bones.

Garroth then proceeded to break down and fell to his knees chanting the words 'Im Sorry' over and over again to Laurence.

Laurence's heart felt as if it was being stabbed open at that exact moment. He could never handle seeing the little blonde boy— his little blonde boy crying.

Garroth stood up and pushed past Vylad, Aphmau, and Cadenza, running away into Vylad's apartment and grabbing his things before scrambling out of the building, all while crying.

Everyone stared down the hallway where Garroth had ran out the building from and looked at each other in disbelief.

Laurence just sat there though, pain hitting him in the chest and he balled his fists.

He couldn't believe that his own friends, their own friends had done that to the poor guy. The guy that he had feelings for. The guy that he loved.

And he was extremely,
extremely furious.
