Not Following Along too Well?

    Okay, so I (the author) realized that this book is going a little fast so I'm gonna break down some details for you!
     Anna had actually met Derek a long time ago. Now Anna hasn't figured it out yet but somehow she still feels a deep connection for Derek. Anna doesn't remember Derek because Derek had wiped away all memories of him from her. Derek needed a fresh start because he realized that Anna was using her powers for the wrong reason. Now Derek has a cloaking spell on Anna that keeps her powers dormant until it's been removed only by Derek. The little tattoo on Anna's wrist is actually a protection spell too. She cannot die until Derek does, so I guess that's why I used the term "possession".
     Now I'm going to explain the force field thing. It's actually a portal that only myths can get into. Now that you know that Anna has unknown powers, it explains how she got in. The portal takes the myths to a parallel universe still known as Alaska and very similar to our state of Alaska.
The "scary" looking monster that was used in the beginning was to see if Anna had remembered what she had created. This demon she created had destroyed the myths universe and was on the verge of getting to the human world. So all the myths came together and destroyed it. This was never to be mentioned to Anna again.
      Slowly Anna is being eased back into the mythical world where she belongs and is staying safe.
This part is the real mouth-dropper. Mia is actually Anna's sister. Mia had to change her appearance completely in order to be near Anna again. This is why Mia is always happy to do anything for Anna. She was the one who even offered to meet Anna at the airport. Anna's parents were also hypnotized to forget Anna by Mia too.
Anna was originally on the plane to go and see her grandmother who lived in Arizona when in fact that wasn't the case at all. The letter sent to Anna's parents about her grandmother was written by Derek himself. The whole scheme to get Anna to them was completely planned out.
