Kellis walked down the hall as she was coming from her 3rd period class. She was going to Ms.kinley class to have lunch with her bestie Shakeria like she did on every B day.
Pushing past people she held on to the strap of her book bag saying Hello to the people she knew. She turned the corner before walking into the room.
Shakeria was sitting with some of her friends Gossiping while eating lunch "Hey bitch."
Kellis smiled "Who you talking about today?"
"Oh girl let me tell you." She put her hand out "ole boy had the nerve to try and talk to me."
"Who?" Kellis asked confused
"Nasik."
Kellis chuckled seeing Shakeria eyes wide "He probably was just trying to be friendly."
"Friendly my ass gone try to be friends after he rejected me,hell nah." She shook her head eating her fries
"Tragic." Kellis sighed crossing her arms
"You not eating?" Shakeria asked
"I ate during C lunch." Kellis answered
"Oh."
They talked for a few moments as time went by
"Oh yea girl I forgot to tell you." Shakeria said
"What?"
"Tell me why Dejuan gone ask me how's life." She squinted her eyes
Kellis chuckled "For real?"
"Yes I was like fine and yours." She said "He gone look at me and smile."
"Like we are not friends don't do it." She smacked on her fries
Dejuan was one of the bad boys of the school. Him and Kellis had a "friendly" type of friendship every since the beginning of the year. But after seeing it wasn't going anywhere Kellis decided to leave it as friends.
"We was the only real friends he had." Kellis said
"I can tell." She looked in the hallway "Speaking of the devil."
Kellis turned seeing Dejuan dapping one of his friends up. She looked at him as he talked. He had on a red jacket with a white t shirt under it some grey sweatpants and his red and white Jordan's.
"Oh my god he look so fine." Kellis
mumbled
"You ain't lying." Shakeria looked stuffing a fry in her mouth
Dejuan looked around the hallway as his friends talked to him. His eyes landed on Kellis as he looked at her from head to toe. She had on black Nike tights with a black top and some red huaraches. Sucking in his bottom lip his eyes connected with hers.
Kellis blushed turning back around looking at Shakeria who was already looking at her "Freaks." She mumbled
"What? I am not." Kellis defended
"Mmh whatever." Shakeria got up from the desk going to throw her trash away
She had to throw her food away in the hall's trashcan since the one in the class was already full. Throwing her trash away she heard her name being called
"Keriii." Benjamin dragged her name
"The hell this nigga want." She mumbled to herself before turning around "Well if it isn't Shan ."
He smacked his teeth as she walked over to him "Why you in the halls?"
"Nigga I know you just saw me throw away my lunch." She said
