I made this letter addressed to Ava because if anyone else saw this and saw that it was addressed to both of you then they might get suspicious. Well anyway, Ava you are supposed to be betrothed to Ciel. Your mother and I were the best of friends when we were younger before I met Rachel. But my parents wouldn't let me marry her. So we decided that our kids would be betrothed. Yes, Ciel you might think, 'well what about Elizabeth?' she was supposed to be the one to be betrothed to you if something happened to Ava. Okay, Ava i need to tell you something. I had to kill your mother, i didn't want to but i was forced she was being charged with murder because of what she did to your father. And when i saw you get stabbed by her i wanted to go see if you were alright but someone else had already called the hospital so i immediately assumed that you would be alright. I should've went to check on you and i'm sorry for not doing that. Ciel, I'm sorry that i had to take you to see what i was forced to do and i'm sorry that you saw Ava get stabbed. I was just as shocked as you were that day. Please if you ever see Ava again, just please keep her safe. Promise me you will make her happy, and that you would protect her.
