When My Life Came To An End

The Rooms

"Wake up!" I hear somebody whisper.

"No! Leave me alone, Sarah!" I say in my sleep.

"Wake up! It's me Matcus!" A male voice says.

"Dad? I don't wanna go to school. Can I reschedule?"

"That doesn't even make sense." The male voice says.

"Yes, it does dad. Quit being a hater."

"I'm not your fucking dad! Wake the fuck up!"

Then I feel a soft pillow it my head.

"What the fuck!" I say and jump up. "What was that for asshole?!" I yell.

"You wouldn't wake up!"

"Anddd! Haven't you heard the saying never wake up a girl? No? Well I just told you so don't try it again, you fucking horse!"

He looks at me funny and guys guess what he does. He fucking laughs at me like a full on laugh.

"Why the fuck are you laughing, I'm serious!" I yell.

"You haha called haha me a haha horse!" He says.

I just roll my eyes and lay back down to go back to sleep since he interrupted it.

"No. Wake up we gotta go downstairs and look for some food and check all of the rooms."

"The fuck you think I am? I'm not going around this ratchet ass hotel just to check all the rooms! This hotel is huge! I'll go look for some food but not any rooms!" He got me bent.

"We are. We need to make sure the place is secured so we can walk around freely."

"No."

"Yes." He says calmly.

"Hell no."

"We can do this all day, sweetheart." He says while winking. He's been weird lately I really don't know what's going on.

"Fine. If I die I'm coming back and haunting you."

"Cool with me." He shrugs.

"Whatever, lets just go get this over with."

We both get up and I'm struggling because my leg. He's by the door all ready and I'm limping over to him.

"How many floors are there?" I ask.

"Umm. I think about 20."

"Ughh. What floor are we on now?"

"5th." He says knowingly.

"So are we going up or down?"

"Up."

"And why is that?" I ask.

"Because we already know there is a horde below us so we'll go up."

"Fine."

He opens the door and we walk out and head towards the exit where we came in at. Marcus opens the door and sees if any zombies are in the stairs. He flicks his hand giving me the all clear. We head up the stairs to the 6th floor. Marcus looks through the window section of the door. I look myself and of course there aren't any zombies.

"Okay. I check the right side of the hall and you check the left side. Once its all clear, you come out into the hall and close the door. Make sure your quiet, okay?"

I nod my head.

He opens the door and we slowly walk side by side. I'm ahead of him while he closes the exit door quietly.
