I shove my headphones on and listen to some of my favorite tunes then attempt to read but nothing is calming down my raging mind. I give up as I sit at my keyboard and think as I play a simple tune. What exactly do I feel towards Zain? What the hell is up with Liam? Most importantly, what will happen in the future? Will Zain and I go out again? Become a couple? Will Liam, Zain and I stay friends? I don't know how long I'm at my keyboard when there's a knock on my door.
"Not in the mood," I say loudly.
"Just me," I hear Niall say.
I sigh and open the door, shutting it once he's in. He sits down on my bed and stares at me for a minute.
"What do you want Niall?" I ask tiredly.
"You lied to me earlier, didn't you?" he ask me bluntly, frowning.
"Niall, I'm sorry," I tell him, looking him in the eyes, "I didn't want to, but me and Zain didn't want anybody to know and I really didn't want to go without letting you know we were leaving."
"I know your heart was in the right place Luna, but it still hurt me, Liam even more so."
He said Luna, not Lulu, Lu or any other nickname. He's really upset with me right now.
"Can you answer me one question? Honestly?"
"Sure, as long as you don't lie to me again."
"Do you or Liam like me?" I ask bluntly. Tonight seems to be bluntness night.
"We both like you. But Liam, Zain and I all agreed to not go after you so there wouldn't be conflict. Then Zain asked you out, that's quite obvious now, and that broke our trust in him," he explains to me.
"Well you shouldn't have done that in the first place. That, in turn, restrains me from who I can go out with, which is unfair to me. You three should have talked about it with each other and then confronted me. You know I don't care if someone likes me, if they're my friend, they're my friend no matter their feelings for me. No awkwardness, no problem, right?"
"Yeah, but you really expect three guys in their twenties to come up with that?" he laughs, lightening the mood, finally.
"No, but I though at least one of y'all might have had a good idea," I smile at him.
"Well how about we all go out to the beach this weekend? Just the four of us or all six of us?"
"Wow, the first good idea I've heard from you in a while!" I tease him, smiling, "Sure, that sounds great and I honestly don't care if it's all of us or not."
"Alright then, I'll go chat with the lads, you can do whatever else you need to do tonight," he smiles opening my door.
"Oh, and Niall," he stops, halfway through the door looking at me, "Thank you. Talking with you really helped me, night," I smile before I lean in and kiss him on the cheek.
"Goodnight," he smiles back before leaving and I can't help but notice his slight blush.
I get ready for bed and pass out within half an hour just to be awoken the next morning by pillows smacking my face. Without even seeing him, I know it's Louis. I smirk before grabbing the pillow as it comes back down towards my face and pull it out of his hands before beating him with it for a second.
"Alright! I get it!" he shouts in defeat as the others walk in laughing at us.
"You ready to go to the beach?" Niall smiles at me.
I look around at the boys and notice they are all already wearing swim trunks, and glancing around them I see the living room trashed with beach supplies and bags.
