So yesterday I came home from school and my mum told me that Frank was breathing heavily because Lego (the White horse in the background) was playing with him and chasing him. I checked on him and he was breathing far to much. Today his breathing had eased up but he was still breathing quickly. The vet came out today to take a blood test Frank has been needing for a while to see if he needs more meds for this disease called Cushings Disease. It is basically a none cancerous tumour on this gland and it stops horses who have it from cooling themselves down. So I was really worried if this blood test would show something else but the vet was really happy that Frank didn't have a chest infection.

Now my mum and I have a plan in place to help Frank stay comfortable. Even though it's winter right now here in Australia we are going to clip Frank, seriously, when mum tried to put a rug on him Frank ran away! So this is our action plan:

We are going to use a puffer we used on Frank a few years ago because he got an infection so once a day with six puffs.

Clip Frank.

Up his medication.

Possibly move Frank into a paddock with another horse because right now he is in a field with Lego and Eddie. Lego is getting better and has been chasing Frank around getting him very hot and bothered.

Yesterday I was very stressed so I want to thank my best friend (in real life) for being there for me and telling me that he Frank is ok.
