(The Devil's Tree and a song for this chapter)
After some planning it was time to finally tell Tangi what this monster was planning. "Tangi, I need to talk to you." "What is it?" She asked curiously I begin to led her away from this literal hell hole. As we walked I told her of his plans and she didn't take it well, "But he told me-" She said through tears, "He lied. I told her as we grew nearer, but we're going to help you." I finished while showing her the diagram Nicole and I drew. "What's that?" She asked confused, "Our ticket out of here. Nicole answered, Just give me a second to add the finishing touches and...Done." She stated while getting up. "How is this going to help us get home?" She asked skeptical. "It's a portal to earth." I answered as she smiled excitedly asking, "How does it work?" "We just have to stand here then they'll chant something to bring us home." Nicole explained as she stepped into the diagram however as Tangi was stepping in he walk in, "What are you doing!" Ge exclaimed angrily, "Go! I'll keep him away." I yelled as the diagram lit up Tangi started crying, "No! I'm not letting you!" Suddenly I felt a pull on my arm then darkness.
It's been a few weeks I had to call in work telling them I was working on a potential case, which wasn't technically a lie because these men are defiantly facing charges kidnapping, cult practices, potential pre-murder charges along with others but for now i'm just keeping an eye on them in hopes that maybe this whole thing is true and there's a chance I can find Tangi. Suddenly I saw the weird pentagram thing that Nicole was under was glowing one of the men came running over with a look a shock and a bit of fear on his face. "What's going on! I demanded to which another man explained only with one word, "She found her." I now crowded along with the others only to see Nicole slowly start to wake up. "Nicole?" Asked one of the preachers she slowly sat up then said, "Yes?" She asked confused but I was furious, "Where's Tangi?" I demanded angrily. They looked worried but told me that she's most likely at the place she was taken from. At that moment Nicole said, "They're at the devil's tree." "What's that?" I asked confused. One of the preachers explained that the devils tree is a evil thing that has been rumored to be a portal to hell. It might have explained her disappearance added another. "Well, let's go." "We can't actually go yet." "Why not!" I snapped. "Well you see we're not sure what happened down there. They might have been possessed or demons could have done something to them." "I don't care! I'm going after my little sister with or without your help!" I yelled angrily but two of the priest came with me while the others stayed with Nicole in case she was possessed. Anyways we dove to a solitude location once we stopped we exited out of the truck where I followed them to a weird black colored tree. "Is that it?" I asked unsure. "Yes, this is the devils tree." As we approached it I noticed something under it. "Hey, what's that?" I asked pointing to a large lump under it. They gasped in horror as it wasn't a lump it was my sister. "Tangi!" I cried worriedly while running toward her while talking off my jacket. "Stop! You don't know if she's possessed." "I don't care!" I told them angrily as I approached her I was surprised how warm it was I shooked her in attempt to wake her. "Tangi? Please, wake up." I begged scared that she might have gotten hypothermia suddenly her eyes started to flutter, "Ani?" I smiled happily answering, "Hai."
