Shawn's P.O.V.

It was the first day of the college, I was wandering around discovering the new place. I was walking towards the notice board to check where my class was, when my eyes fell on the girl looking at the notice board seriously. She was wearing a black frock with open straight hair, bag hung on her shoulders. She looked flawless but I was not able to see her face. I knew she looked beautiful.

I was walking towards the the notice board to see her face but then my friends came and dragged me towards the classes. I wanted to see her face and​know about this mysterious girl.

I was walking into the classroom when my eyes fell on the same girl. She was sitting there chatting with her friends until her eyes fell upon me. We were both staring into each others eyes. She had a dark chocolate brown colour of eyes. I thought to go to talk to her but then just thought pass her bench and see her reaction.

I studied her for few seconds then walked towards her bench.

To my surprise she held my hands and stopped. I was just so confused and overwhelmed by her move, still keeping a straight face.

After a few minutes of her friend shaking her, she left my hand though I never wanted her to.

That's when I decided to not leave a single chance to talk to her even though by my evil means. I used to tease, she looked so cute while she was angry. Aww!!!

Until when we had that test. I knew she wanted to come first but no one has come first in years except me. I decided to do some of my answers wrong to make her come first.

When the result was announced she came first, she was so damn happy. After seeing her so happy a smile automatically played on my lips.

She was giving treat to her friends when I walked to her. She looked confused and furious. She gave me an almost like one hour lecture though I was just listening to her so sweet voice.

She had like two cups of butterscotch, I was a bit in shock, so I asked her but she stayed silent. Before leaving I waved her goodbye and nicknamed her 'butterscotch'!

It's been weeks we gradually became friends. We were both sitting in a room as no was there to pick up both of us.

We were waiting in silence until my phone started ringing. It was my ex. I don't know she had been bothering me since last week. Here I wanted to talk to my sweetheart but that bitch is calling me. I was so cancelling the calls until it was over and I threw the phone.

My butterscotch was coming towards me but I was so angry that I just bluntly said her "what!?". She looked so scared, I regretted​ immediately after saying that.

As I looked up, she started leaving the room. I got up and held her hand. I realised she was shivering from my craziness. Stupid me. How can I think of hurting her in any ways.

I quickly said "You can stay, I won't hurt you". She turned back with a confused expression on her face. I held her hand and made her sit on the chair beside me.

After few minutes of waiting she asked me if I want to share what's the matter. How can someone say no to her!

I explained her everything. It's​ a story like similar to Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards. And I would be singing the song 'shout out to my ex'. I loved this girl in my highschool and we had a long relationship. I loved her. She dumped me with a text message. I was so furious on that and decided not to see her face again.

She got up and pulled me into a hug. It felt like all broken pieces of my heart are now mended. She then slowly whispered into mt ear "Your butterscotch is always there for you". I was like now feeling so damn better. She worked wonders.

After that the teacher came and told that my brother has arrived. I got up and bid her a goodbye a slightly kisses her on her cheek. I quickly left the room. I saw her touching her cheeks and smiling and then I left.

Months passed by and we became like bestfriends and partners in crime. We always enjoyed each others company.

Today we were meeting for a coffee with our other friends. I was really excited.

We were having our usual coffee's and gossiping with our friends. One of our mutual friends asked us are we dating and she immediately said no but I said yes. She looked towards me with a confused look. I thought this is the best opportunity to ask her to be my girlfriend.

I sat on my knees took one of her hands and kept it on my lap and said "Love, Will you be my girlfriend?"

She had a look on her face which I was not able to read. My heart was racing so fast. If only she knew I had a crush on her from day 1.

She stood up and hugged me tightly with happy tears in her eyes. I pecked he on her forehead and then we pulled apart. Our friends hooting from behind.

It was such a special day for me with love if my life, my butterscotch, we were finally together.

We were both so happy......

This was almost real as I told but it's not happy ending in real lyf.
