Me: "So I'm guessing by now that you can probably see the plot is going to be rather piecemeal for this story. Sort of like: You observe what's going on. You think about it. You come to your own conclusions. You know? Like, this isn't a story where one chapter is where something happens, and then the next chapter is just the reaction to what happened, and then the next chapter is more things happening. Not that I have anything against those story lines or that I don't use them myself, but they just don't seem as realistic as this kind that I'm trying out. It's like, if you take a look at your life, it's not really a bunch of big things happening, and then you're reacting to them. More often it's like a bunch of regular things happening, and you're just being you, and then if you put all those things together, there it is: your life, your story. Anyways, that's how I feel like the plot of this story is going to be, and I'm wondering how it will turn out—how much you guys will like it." *Shrugs* "And now, without further ado, let's try another chapter type! Also, I don't think there will be too many more chapter types, considering that having too many would just be confusing." *Finally starts the show*

*Wally's POV*
I blink my eyes open. There's a light grey blur, then a strip of black above it, and then a long, lined dark grey blur above that. I blink some more. My left leg feels pretty restless, maybe what woke me.
Oh, that's the road, and then the grass and the trees, I guess. I wipe my hand over my eyes. I'm sitting in the passenger seat, reclined as far back as I can go with May sprawled out behind me in the backseat. My head is tilted to the left, looking out the window, and I turn it to the right now, wondering how Brendan's holding up, driving in the middle of the night. (Me: "They drive on the left side of the road in Japan. Which is where the Hoenn, Kanto, Johto, and Sinnoh regions are supposed to be. So the driver's seat would be on the right side of the car...Though I don't know if this is how they portray it in anime." *Frowns*) We probably should've left Hoenn earlier. None of us are gonna get any sleep this way—we have that concert starting in the afternoon, but you have to get there way before that for set-up...sound checks...
"Pfft...haha." I don't have time to react any other way. What is Brendan doing? He's got his shirt off and- Wait. Actually, it's freezing in here. I sit up a bit and put my hand up to one of the air vents on my side, and, yeah, I shiver. Is this how he's trying to stay awake? Singing along to some Madonna song on the radio with his shirt off while he freezes himself to death with the car's air conditioning and does some sort of adorable shoulder dance? I can't help snickering at him again.
(Me: *Pictures it* "Guys, it's soooo cute in my head." <3)
Brendan of course reacts to my laughter. "Wally, you're awake?" Briefly, he takes his eyes off the deserted road to look at me, his skin glowing pale blue in the light from the dash, and then he adjusts the volume dial on the radio down to a hush.
I have to smile at him apologetically, though he's not looking my way anymore. Someone should've switched out with him at least an hour ago. "Yeah, I'm awake...And you're falling asleep?"
Ugh, that ac really is awful, the way he has it turned up. I reach up to the vents on my side and shut them and then shiver again.
"Mmm, not so much anymore..." he laughs, "I definitely was earlier when the car was this perfect temperature, and you two were night-night. May's really cute in the backseat."
"...Huh." I turn over onto my left side and stare out the window again, the world a colorless blur—grey, black, grey—but you can almost see the grass is still green in the headlights.
