It was a cold winter day, and Bethany had just got home to her apartment from work. It was Bethany's 24th birthday, and her whole family was at her childhood home, all there to celebrate. Including some of her friends.. it was gonna be awesome!
- 5 Hours Later -
"Well, this was a great party!" Said Sophie.
"I know!" Replied Bethany "it's a shame my bab-- Nathaniel didn't turn up.."
"I know.." Said Mano "It was a shame.."
"Oh well.. it was fun tho.. " giving Bethany a cheeky grin, "come on.. let's go home, Mano" Said Teigan as she hugged Bethany and went to say bye to everyone else.
"Y'know.. I think you should text him.. just to, uh.. make sure he's fine.. okay?" Said Mano, obviously hiding something. He had arranged Nathaniel to come round and give Bethany.. a 'suprise'.
"Okaaay..?" Bethany said suspiciously " thanks for coming!" She high-fived Mano as Teigan appeared, ready to go home. She took Mano's hand and Bethany led them out the door.
"Happy Birthday, Bethany!" They said simultaneously.
"Bye guys!" Shouted Bethany, as she hurried back to say bye to everyone.
Bethany was exhausted. She had way too much to drink so, aftrer the party, Bethany went to her room, got undressed and was about to shower. Suddenly, the doorbell rang.
