Chapter 2. Who are you?

As the car parked. Vanessa jumped off immediately and ran away. Finding her self in 2 path to choose. Either the road leading to a highway, but with many cars, or either the peaceful road..which leads to a house..she didn't really want to go to the highway..it was too loud and that could just be her death. So, she went to the peaceful road, the crows echoing from long distances gave her tiny chills all the way to the spine. She looked at the old house, and walked towards it. And as she slowly placed her hand to the door, it already opens with a old man wearing a red faded polo shirt, and khakis, which looked dirty and covered in smudges of dirt. "What do you want." He said. "I-I just need somewhere to stay.." Vanessa said quietly, as if the whole world was a library. "Kid. Speak up. Nobody else lives here and nobody can hear you here." He boomed. "Sorry. I j-just need somewhere to stay. If you don't mind.." she said while slowly taking a closer look at the house. Noticing it was a bit rusty, and even the brown pillars were shaky a bit and it looked too risky enough to live there. But then the man said "well what do ya got that's good?" Vanessa jumped in panic and said "I-I don't actually have much.." the old man then said "..you can stay around in the basement.." he kept the door opened and Vanessa walked in, looking around in all the old items and pictures..one showed the old man and a women next to him, but the picture was slightly shattered.."alright I'm not wasting time here." He opened to basement door and looked at Vanessa. "O-oh..ok..sorry if I interrupted anything.." she said as she was walking up the stair to the basement. "Oh no. Nothing was interrupted.." he said sliding on of his hands to his pockets.

Vanessa made it up to the basement, and the old man shuts the door quickly. Making a loud noise. And making Vanessa jump. She looks around the room and takes out a tiny blue flashlight out of her little pocket from her hoodie, and looks around, seeing a little corner of a bunch of flowers, pictures of the old man and a old lady, together, just like from the living room, but they were a bit younger. And next to the pictures, was a coffin filled with flowers for the cover of the coffin. Vanessa felt like she had seen this before, but the memory faded, and she just walked to a corner, and watched the window shining from the moon. She fell asleep after watching the moon.

Hey guys. There's actually gonna be another ending to this. Since there was a decision to either go to the loud road or silent road. And V chose for herself. But if you guys want I can make the other ending! It'll be shorter. But it'll have more action!
