Brooklyn Beckham
Zoe faced me. "What's happening?" she asked suddenly all serious. Someone I knew she was not.
"I..." I was surprised with my lost of words. I took a deep breath in, "...don't know" I continued confidently.
"What do you mean you don't know? My mom doesn't usually shut me out and tell me to go to my room, Brooklyn" the way she said my name sent shivers down my spine. She doesn't really seem nice at the moment.
"Well, Zoe" I spoke same bitterness lingering in my voice as I spoke out her name. "My parents don't usually send me up to a room with someone I don't know" I told her, not sure on why such bitter words left my mouth.
She looked at me hurt at what I said, but eventually she held her head high as she gave me a bitter laugh. "Yeah, why would my mother send me off to my room with someone I barely know" she bitterly told me as those shivers went down my spine again.
Just then Harper's cried made its way to my ears. My head instantly snapped over to my other younger siblings sitting down on Zoe's bed.
Me and Zoe has been fighting all along that I completely forgot that my other younger sibling were with us too witnessing everything that has just happen. Witnessing our childish argument.
I slowly made my way beside Harper carrying her into my arms and swinging her back and forth, just like the way she likes. I sat down on the bed and placed her on my legs facing me. "Why are you low, baby?" I asked as I looked at her and wiped her tears.
"You and Zoe keeps fighting" she sniffed as she rubbed her nose. I tried wiping her falling tears.
"We'll stop okay. So, Harper, stop crying. Please?" I smiled at her.
Not soon enough she responded with a smile of her own as she hugged me tightly. I placed her down betweem Romeo and Cruz and made my way towards Zoe who was standing there watching everything.
I held her by her biceps. "This will not be the last time we talk" I whispered making sure none of my siblings could hear.
Later on I found myself sitting beside my siblings playing rock paper scissors. I glanced over to Zoe who was busy typing away on her phone. Was she on twitter? Does she even have a twitter? Maybe she's texting someone? Friend? Boyfriend? Thses thoughts kept swirling in my mind.
A slight knock seems to have caught all of our attentions.
The door began to slowly open. Aunt Nadine slowly peeked her head into the room and opening it slowly.
"Brooklyn, can you bring you and your siblings down to the living room?" she asked sweetly just like how she always was.
I simply nodded my head as I lifted Harper into my arms and making my younger brothers walk ahead of me.
Before I have completely left the room, I heard Aunt Nadine tell Zoe, "I have some... probably bad news".
My heart fell to the pit of my stomach. What did Aunt Nadine and my parents talk about?
I walked down to the living room and placed Harper down. My parents were sitting beside each other smiling from ear to ear. Something must be up.
A/NSorry for the long long long wait. Okay I don't remember what name I gave to Zoe's mom or if I even mentioned a name, but I decided that I will be naming her Aunt Nadine.
I can't promise to update fast on this account because I do have another account with four on going stories, but when I open this account I'll try my best to update.
P.S. In this book, both Zoe and Brooklyn are currently still 14 (since this is a fiction), they will remain that age until I say so (lol)
