Helldorado days

As soon as we got to the hotel we were staying in his sisters dragged me away. I couldn't even kiss him goodbye. They had the dress I had picked out in their room already. Man the bed is going to be empty tonight.

Mason

As soon as we entered my sisters dragged my girl away! That's just wrong especially without a goodbye kiss. I went to my room as set my bag on the bed. The guys will be here in a few minutes to take me out for a night of fun. I sat down on the bed looking out the window. Man the bed is going to be so empty tonight. But tomorrow night is going to be our first night married. Then when summer break hits we're going on our honeymoon then.

Oh how I already wanted her. I adjusted my jeans and stood up when I heard a knock at the door. I opened it seeing the guys. "Not too drunk tonight. I don't want a hangover tomorrow." I told them.

Pounding at the door woke me up. I got up off the bed walking to the door. I looked out the peep hole seeing a guy I didn't know. He knocked again. I went to get a shower. The door was opened. Good thing I locked the bathroom door. I put shorts and a shirt on over my undergarments and stepped out. The guy was still here. In the room. Mason's sisters were talking to him. I then saw a scar on his left cheek. A flash back to when I got a bullet to my knee hit me hard.

"I'm sorry but you really need to go." I said pushing him out the door. As soon as he was out in the hall I locked all of the locks. "That was the guy that shot me." I told them. They looked at me with fear. "Let's get ready. I've got an hour." I told them. They quickly got dressed and helped me into my dress. I left my hair natural and makeup to a minimal.

I then put my belt on while they were doing their makeup. I took the gun out and made sure it was loaded before sticking it back into the belt buckle. No one but me knows it holds a real gun. I slipped my boots on and grabbed my hat. The girls led the way to the cars. Then to the chapel. Once there I could tell the guys were already here. As I walked in I was handed a bouquet.

I walked down the isle watching faces. I looked ahead seeing Mason waiting for me. As soon as I got to the altar I spotted the guy. Another flashback to when I was younger came to mind. In an instant I remembered who he was. My dad had given him the scar when he tried to kidnap me. He showed a handgun from under his dress coat.

Just before the preacher asked if anyone objected a gun went off. In an instant I was on the ground with Mason covering me. The man had his gun out. I pulled mine out hitting him in his gut. He looked down before coughing I could see the red coming from his mouth. No one tries to kidnap me, blow my knee out, and ruins my wedding.

The police took him away. I already had my gun hidden. The whole time Mason was in shock. I looked back seeing a hole in the wall. "Baby are you ok?" Mason finally asked snapping out of his trance. "I'm fine are you?" I asked him. "Yeah. Who was that?" He asked. "Someone who should have been in prison." I told him. It's crazy that he had been hidden for four years.

We both stood up the preacher then asked the question as if nothing happened. No one spoke up. He then said to kiss the bride. He took my hat off while I took his off. I put his on my head while he was forced to carry mine. We were down the isle and out of the church faster than the crowd. As soon as we were out he picked me up taking his hat sticking mine back on my head.

He set me in the truck we rented before going to PBR Rock bar and grill. We had rented it out for the meal and dancing. I already had a change of clothes in the back seat. Once there I grabbed the garment bag and changed quickly between truck doors. Good thing I learned young how to. Jeans go under the dress and the shirt goes on over the top of the dress. I put a bra on under the dress before pulling the shirt down and unzipping the back.

Mason was waiting patiently for me. I took the dress off and put it in the garment bag then put my boots back on along with my hat. I closed the back door then the front. "Only my girl can do that." He said as we walked in. "Don't forget it." I told him. The cake was out along with several mugs and mason jars. Nothing fancy. It's the complete opposite of fancy.

As we got up to front, friends and family were congratulating us. Well now I can say I've had a Vegas style wedding and married my cowboy.
