Six had finally escaped the disgusting hell hole called the Maw. But there there was nothing out there for her. Zip, zilch, nada. Nothing but ocean surrounding the Maw.

"I've gotta do something," Six mused to herself. There wasn't anything flammable for her to use. There were no trees, no flammable liquids, no shrubs. There was nothing to burn to give off a smoke signal for anybody to see. Besides, the Maw was in the middle of nowhere. How could anybody be able to see her?

"Maybe," Six sighed to herself. She climbed up the smokestack and started shouting, hoping to get somebody to see her. But that smart attempt was made in vain. "How the hell can nobody see this smokestack? It's super high!" But because she hadn't eaten in a long time, she started having a hunger pain. Her stomach growled loudly, yet softly like the growl of a tiger stalking on his prey. "Damn, I gotta eat something." She looked everywhere on the surface of the Maw for anything to eat. She was so hungry, she would eat anything, even if the food was spoiled.

But at the entrance of the Maw, there was a loaf of bread on the ground. Just a simple loaf of bread. No jelly inside, no peanut butter, just a loaf of bread. But Six didn't care about any fillings inside the bread. She was glad that food was given to her. So she ran as fast as her little legs could carry her. She reached the loaf of bread and devoured it. But as she finished the loaf, a pair of long hands grabbed her out from the shadows.
