Chapter 14

"Miss Trinity!" I heard a small voice say. Looking behind me, I see that little girl from before. Jeff and Jane finally stopped fighting and is now grumbling and glaring at each other. Smiling at the little girl who now stands in front of me, I say, "Hey, Sally! What do you need?" She pouts and hugs her teddy bear.

"Don't tell me you forgot!" She whines. Confused for a moment, I tried to process what she means. 'Oh wait!'

"Oh! No I didn't forget! We're suppose to play together! Heheh..." I laughed nervously. Sally looks at me like she doesn't believe me, but shrugs it off. "Good! Now come on!" She says, grabbing my hand into her small ones. I had to regain my balance at the sudden action.

"Okay, okay! Slow down, Sally!" I say. She just giggles. Finally, she stops and drops my hand. "Alright! Here we are!" She says. We were currently standing in front of the big tree. It was still occupied by the 3 people I saw earlier. Masky and Hoodie looked up from each other. "Hi, Masky! Hi, Hoodie!" Sally greets. "Hey, Sally." They both greeted back. Another face pops into view from above. It was Toby. He was hanging from the tree by keeping his legs around the tree branch.

"H-Hiya, Sally!" Toby greets her. She giggles at his silly actions and smiles up at him. "Hi, Toby!" She greets back. "So what do you need, Sally?" Masky asked her. She gives them a cheeky smile. "I want to play hide and seek!" She replies. Masky sighed. "I don't know, Sally. I really don't feel like it." He says. Sally started tearing up at his answer. "B-But I wanted to play with y-you guys!" She wails. Masky immediately turned nervous as she keeps crying.

"Alright, alright! Fine I'll play!" He exclaimed. Sally giggles, her tears immediately disappearing. 'It's like she faked cried...wouldn't be surprised that she did.' I thought, amused. Sally turned to Hoodie, who seemed nervous when she started to speak to him. "What about you, Hoodie?" She asks sweetly. "I guess so..." He muttered. "Yay!" She cheers. "Toby?" She asks. Toby flipped from the tree (which was impressive to watch), and now stood in front of us. "S-Sure!" He replies.

"Okay! I'm the seeker! Hoodie, Masky, Toby, and Trinity are the hiders!" Sally says. They all seemed confused at my name being called. Before they could question Sally, I cleared my throat and spoke up. "Yeah, I'm here too." I say. All 3 boys snapped there gazes to me. 'Well, I don't blame them. I WAS pretty quiet.' I thought.

"You guys ready?" Sally asked us. We all nodded. "Alright, I'm going to count to 20. So go now!" She says. All 4 of us immediately dispersed from Sally.

'Let the game begin!'
