the sun lays comfily
on a bed of treetops,
it's softened light beaming along with
an array of enchanting hues.
our dark shadows are
just mere illusions,
disappearing as the sun slips under,
the day finally meeting slumber
just as the night awakens,
bringing a new, exhilarating life
among us
as well.

a/n: hey guys! i know it's been forever since i've written anything for empyrean... my apologies. i took a break from writing and wattpad for a few months, but now i'm back :) i'll be writing more now that's it's summer (but expect a lack of updates when i go on a trip later this summer), so there'll more updates to empyrean.

i've actually started another poetry collection recently called "to you" and would really appreciate if any of you guys could check it out. I know that my writing may be a bit rusty, so i'll love some feedback to help me :) i might also post hsome new stories this summer... like a novel and more poetry collections ;) just stay around for a bit and you may get to read them. i'm happy to be back and excited to start writing more again. anyways, thanks to anyone still here and for your support <3
