It all started when you've transferred to this prestigious junior high everyone was talking about yet you didn't even bother knowing the name.

As long as you take quizzes, tests and get great marks, that's all you care about.

But suddenly getting those marks were the greatest mistake you ever did. Because pressure wasn't your thing y'know. Add some betrayal to the recipe and you're in a real dilemma. Apparently, the principal of your school was that lethal dish.

And as a woman - or rather - a highschool student of high standards, you couldn't suffer such intolerable ethics.

Ever since then, you've been condemned to the wretched class E. Not that you mind anyway.

Despite being transferred, your grades have kept up with those on the highest ranking. Gossips about your grades spread out like wildfire and it lowered your reputation even more.

"She was a prodigy if you ask me. Hell, she might even be sitting with class - A."

"Then why is she on class - E?"

"Teachers found out she was cheating. Totally concealed by her innocent face. That's why they call her the 'Evil Goddess' of class E."

"When I saw her, I thought she was on a whole new level. I guess she was as low as those good for nothing class - E"

And they also didn't forget their parting gift — the humiliation.

Being transferred to class - E at the beginning of the year was a rough start.

And it just so happened to become harder when that yellow talking calamari came along and some government pawns strutted their inside the classroom, suddenly everyone inside (except for the octopus and the government goons) became a fighter.

You became an assassin.

"How the hell are we supposed to get rid of this weird-octopus guy? I mean none of us can't even land an attack on him!" Someone shouted among your classmates while they shoot your octupus-like teacher while he dart back and forth repeatedly on the front of your classroom.

"L/n, commence plan B." Mr. Karasuma spoke into your earpiece. You had no hesitation as you walked towards your teacher while everybody stopped firing at him.

"Oh, L/n, would you please get back to your seat? We're going to discuss about you and your classmates' behaviors." He asked politely while you fake a cough and acted sick.

"Sorry sir, but I'd like to go to the clinic. Would you please give me permission?" You asked as he seemed to tilt his head out of curiosity.

"Sure, Why not?" He said, leading you out the door. "Students, I expect you to behave while I AAAAAAHH —"

You pushed him outside the door, where anti-sensei BBs laid on the ground. His tentacles popping with a satisfying sound.

You looked at your prey with a sly smile. And that smile widened as Nagisa shouted, "FIRE!"

Everyone shot sensei while he stood at the door. All the bullets seemed to move in slow motion, as they approached the yellow octopus.

"You students really need to think outside the box!" He sighed as one of his tentacles gripped your arm that was holding a gun. Seeing that he did the expected reaction, Chiba fired his gun towards the octopus' tentacle.

The yellow octopus dodged whatever effort you've all made but you managed to wriggle your hand and turned the tables on him, your gloved hand gripping hard on his tentacle instead.

After a few seconds, a satisfying pop came from the tentacle you've gripped so hard. It went down wriggling and oozing with yellow substance.

After that the classroom was filled with silence and the sound of guns clicking. Everyone ran out of ammos during that ambush but even you couldn't do much seeing that every tentacle you've all just removed grew, again.

Everyone groaned in exhaustion, some in annoyance. You returned to your seat with a sigh.

Your weird octupus teacher lectured you all about using weapons during class and cleaning the mess. Stuff you couldn't care much about.

All you wanted was to graduate with ranks, not kill an unkillable specie which is probably in the dictionary of weird you don't even wanna mess with.

How you manage to get inside this dilemma, you never knew. Yet you felt blaming that asshole of a principal - who threw you here like some garbage. You also blame those ministry of defense guy.

And finally that octupus of a sensei who get to ruin your lives in a whole year.

You sat at the backyard, sulking. I had one job, dammit. Someone sat beside you and you realized that it was Akano, smiling at you.

"Don't worry, Y/n. We'll get him next time. I'm sure." She reassures you while you flash her a small smile.

Just then, Nagisa's voice boomed throughout the backyard.

"Karma? You're back!" He approached a red-headed guy, a new face you never saw in your class before yet his name oddly familiar in your ears.

You observed him as he made his way towards Nagisa. Average junior high build, piercing red eyes, an intense aura surrounding him. Except, you're the only one that seemed to see it.

As they conversed, his eyes traveled for a second and landed yours. A smile etched itself on your face as you noticed his stare.

After that you couldn't calm those raging feeling inside the pit of your stomach. That encounter that made you incline yourself more into your dilemma, which is your section itself.

It made you ponder if this class really is worth it.
